flourgirl i haven't got a mat yet either but after the problems rusty had with hers i think i might have to get these you can get a border strip to emboss with normal stencils so i'll be trying that

I have just ordered 2 T shirts each for the boys from the Boden sale and am now thinking "how many packs of nesties could I have bought for that?!"
when I do eventually buy some do I need a mat to use with them? what sort of mat is it and what is it for?

You don't need a mat to cut them bunbun but if you want to emboss with them you need a rubber mat . Oyster crafts do one for 6.50 and they also do a border one for 2.50 which you can use to emboss with normal brass stencils etc . At the moment you can have both mats for 7.00 .

Sorry craftygranny I should have said I am 99% certain mine was an oyster stamps rubber mat, thats what I had problems with! I just can't get it to work following the instructions, I aint a wimp I am quite strong and yet I couldn't even turn the handle with the mat in, OH did it but it just kept slipping??

Actually looking back on ebay ... mine was a spellbinders one?? link here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370212838012

I have just been sat here catching up on Crafty Place and there was a really loud bang outside, we both dashed out to find 3 bottles of Elderflower Champagne exploded!! not blown the tops but blown the bottoms out of the bottles. Luckily due to the hot weather they were in a big bucket of cold water outside in the shade, we are now sat drinking the one from the fridge just incase lol

There were 3 more left so we have opened them and caught it in a jug but only about a pint the rest is on the drive :( Ive put it in a screw top bottle in the fridge but not screwed down tight just incase it fizzes up again. We will probably drink it tonight. Its a real shame because its lovely. The next lot will be cordial to dilute with fizzy water :)
