The blurb says: Hair that endures plenty of styling needs lots of love and attention. Treat your dry and damaged locks to boots expert heat protection taming serum, with UV filter tames and smoothes frizzy hair whilst adding brilliant shine to straight hair. :)

Has anyone used the 350 extra points with a spend of over £35?

I used it today to buy an epilator for £66.65 plus 2 items for 50p each, I used the notw £5 off a £30 spend, but was only awarded 248 points + 210 kiosk offer points, was this right?

Thanks Op for the Expert glitch (think it was Sally06 ) I decided I would get the scar serum as I have a few scars to use it on. It worked and I only paid £2.60 odd!:j SA was very impressed and I hot tailed it out before she could scrutinise it too much. Will be doing a similar transaction tomorrow!

hiya:DI can't take full credit for the glitch, as someone else used the voucher before me and discovered it took off the full price of the hair loss treatment and not the reduced price, resulting in a credit of £3.33:D

I was the one who discovered you didn't need to spend £5 to qualify for the freebie, by buying items with 1/3 off, bringing the total spend down to 26p:jI hope we get more of these double glitches from Mr B:D

small store in shepherds bush has the latest H&B mag instock:jnot read it yet though.

I decided to turn my accumulated fortune into a buggy for my pregnant daughter, but she's just had twins and Boots don't sell a twin pushchair that will fit through her front door.

Edit - does anyone know why some shortened quotes appear really neatly, and others are a mess like this?

Can you not jot down the code from the website, go into store and do a web order paying with your points, then collect from store? My twin was cheaper through boots than any other store.

    You had somehow deleted a ']' :)

    Hi everyone

Noticed today the La Roche Posay freebies are back - need to buy 2 products to get the free starter kits, which are variable depending on your skin type. Not in a box this time but in zip lock plastic bags. Good sized compared to the last ones.

But, the starter kits scan 0.00 :D

The op is right they play havoc with the plates!!! Grrr

So it just a matter of hair type really. I am so jealous of those who like you have no need to
straighten your hair. Want to swap?:p:p

Ah, never knew that product did, I've only probably used my GHD's about 4 times each year and I bought them from my hair dressers before they were a coverted item :)

    Erm no ta :)

Oh well...I'm sure at 44p someone must use the stuff and not find it 'old fashioned' as i'm sure they have sold it well over 3 years now :)

If its the coupon from the acm, mr b has changed the t&c's. I didnt use mine last time but when i got home i read it, and it is no longer 350 EXTRA points, its just 350 points. It then explained that this was made up of the 140 normal points you get (4 per £1 of a £35 spend = 140) plus 210 kiosk offer points. A bit cheeky as the acm screen does not show this. HTH.

Oh i do miss the days of 75 extra points wys £7.50, one of those with every shop has gotten me to £140 of points today, now i cant bear to part with them!!
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.

Not necessarily! It might be your store that has the tills set up differently. Last week I did it; (all with same items, eg: 2 x dry scalp treatment, or 2 x anti blemish gel)
    Mon - Totteridge, not working
    Wed - Brent X - working,
    Thurs - Greenford, not working,
    Fri -Brent X working.
So try a different store, you might be lucky!
What I did notice was that Totteridge and Greenford didn't have the Expert hair loss spray with a sel of £6.66, they showed full price, but Brent X did - is that significant? Who knows, with Mr B!

edit - look like I spent my whole week in boots :o
