Thing is, Disney tickets are worth over $1000 so I wasn't going to risk it....that's why I paid excess postage on a card marked to the occupier.:o

When you're registered with the Mail Preference Service, am I right in thinking that companies who don't abide by their rules and send spam, are fined £1000?

    Good luck!

But a letter addressed to "The Occupier" or "The Pizza Lover" isn't covered by the MPS.

Not heard from Pizza Hut yet - not expecting anything swift from them, tbh, but....

went into the porch about 6 p.m. - guess what was waiting - my Disney tickets....

so hats of to undercovertourist.com for excellent service. Suppose I should really start another thread praising them.:D

I got a card about excess postage, luckily I was in next day when the postie came and I told him to send it back to the sender as I was not paying extra postage. I was not expecting anything. He brought it with him the next day so I could have a look at it. It was junk mail so he said he would return it to sender. I never heard any more about it.

When @ the PO, ask to see the address. Then decide.

  • Pizza Hut have outsourced their customer service department, they used to have it on site at their UK head office (Borehamwood , 0207 number ) and have relocated it elsewhere with a revenue generating 0844 number.

    That's progress
    baldly going on...

Thats just bizarre. If it was Pizza Hut junk mail surely it comes with the postage pre printed on the envelope? Didn't the Post Office show you the envelope before you paid for it, they do at mine and you do not have to accept the mail. You could have said no but then I suppose the hassle of getting a taxi. Couldn't you have asked for the thing to be reposted to you and said you would pay the excess at the door to the postie? Then you could have told the postie at the door, no I'm not paying for junk mail and you wouldn't have had to pay for a taxi.

By the way, T in the Park tickets are not sent out til the week before the festival usually. This is far too early for them to be sent out.
