cally_c thank goodness that DD's exams are almost over - I hope life returns to normal in your house - does she feel she has done ok? I hope she is the belle of the ball(prom) it will be so lovely for her to be all dressed up. rememeber to take a photo! Dont be worrying about keeping up with the thread - you are doing loads of work and thats the main thing - just pop in and keep us updated with your progress.
flybabybunting if its going to be a a problem for you at this time of the month then work around it - schedule yourself small tasks that will keep things ticking over until AF has been and gone and doing all level 3's the week before is obviosly not a good idea for you so aim to do level 2 and keep on top of things a bit more rather than having a blitz.BlimusOreilly wrote: »I've got a full house today so I'm going to tie them all up and stick them in a corner while I fly around them!
Wednesday Whizz! ~ Living room, hall and stairs!
Level One
Declutter the floorsWent for my normal morning swim did 100 lengths (of a fish pond sized pool) sighBut I did declutter all of the surfaces, which means I should be able to dust and hoover when I get home tonight. My plan is to dust all round and hoover all round in one go and should be able to cross lots of the lists for all the rooms!!!
Ive only skimmed the thread and am not sure Ive understood this properly, but Pigpen, has someone shot your cat with a pellet????? Congrats on Uni too.
You are right about wee hazel - some !!!!!! used her for airgun practice and has blown away her eye - poor wee thing is very lucky to be alive but is recovering. We will be mounting a posse I think!
G&B excellent results - (even though you are a little disappointed) Congratulations - you deserve the top marks after all the hard work. Glad your migraine has gone - nasty things!
I love the multi quotes too but I am still testing it and have discovered that it hasnt givem 2 posts - yours and mudbaths - I think it was because I had clicked the multi quote key and then refreshed the page - although they were still red they havent appeared in the post! But it certainly beats having loads of tabs open to reply to.
mudbath enjoy the reiki - I am going to try it when I can.
The morning has whizzed by again - morning person was a bit later - then District nurse came - she is nice and will be calling in regulary and then case worker arrived with my support lady - she is going to be taking me out every wednesday for a couple of hours to do whatever i need/want or just for a run in the car! She seems nice and likes charity shops too!!:rotfl::rotfl:
I ahve put away the food in the freezer and done a bit of tidying in the kitchen - I think I will make it my job for the WEEK - there are lots of splatters after yesterdays cooking and stuff needs to be re-homed so I will chip away at that this week - still no word of when the cleaner is coming:rolleyes:
almost lunchtime - back later
toots xx

Lil me - I will join you.
Dusty - can he cheat and use a simple chocolate ganache/truffles so he can roll the balls?
Toots - kitten arrived ten days ago. First LadyL was showing pictures of her lovely new tabbies, then I offered to get two kittens for my parents. They were so confident and bouncy that DH said I could get their brother so Tiger joined us. He is my new avatar. He is currently upside down on the kitchen floor playing poke fights with the puppy such is his confidence. 7 month old bouncy border collie and 7 week old tiny kitten are best of friends.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Toots I wish you lived a bit nearer, I'll rephrase that I wish I lived nearer to you since I'm in the swine flu circle, I'd do your shopping for you (but that might mean you had two toxic pals). If I can do anything let me know If I can I will.
Anyone up for a HHC at 1pm ??????
I've done 3x wm and 1x TD and 1x winter dyke but heeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaw else! Did have a sleep though as HRH was still in bed!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Afternoon all
Wednesday's list complete Toots
Thank you for asking after my dog (Toots and kazm I think it was, last night). She's fine in herself, her usual doddery old self. I'm just worried she will end up having to have an anaesthetic and the vet really wants to avoid that if he can because of her age. Knowing me I'm worrying about something that won't happen.
No washing today. The forecast is for rain but so far it's dry but it's getting very windy. I cut the grass back and front and swept up although the grass kept blowing back at me!
Ah, it's just started to rain.
I polished the computer table and vacuumed the hallway and kitchen.
Just put dinner in the oven - savoury crumble, a different recipe I found somewhere on here. I tried one before which wasn't very nice so I hope this is better. If not, then I give up on savoury crumble.
Hope people are OK, I can't remember what I've read now.0 -
Right I'm on my own (just call me norman!)
Ready steady go.................... Join me if you can!I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

... and the bedroom is nearly there too, but the washing machine has been going non-stop for the huge mountain of clothes that had appeared in the laundry bag - which had been entirely empty at the weekend.
I wasn't called for work today, which is quite nice as it gave me the chance to catch up.
I know I've said this before, but new flybabies do not try and play catch up. If you haven't done the day, then take it off your post. You are just beginning, and so concentrate on the one day at a time!! Do Level One, and if that went okay, then go for Level Two. Try adding one declutter mission to that. The room will come round again next week, and every week that you are on here it will get better, I promise. Regular flyladies can skip this bit - my main bedroom was a complete tip, so awful that I couldn't even decide where to start. I just spent half an hour on the main bedroom day each week. It took a year before the room was fit to be redecorated, and have wardrobes fitted, but now it's a doddle to clean.
I think the key is to have a clear idea of what a room is to be used for, remove everything that doesn't meet that criterion, and then fit the right storage for the things you need in there. Have I achieved that yet? No of course I haven't! I have a teenage DD who can buy stuff faster than I can declutter it!!
DS2 had a great birthday yesterday despite his exam, but has a bad cold today so is home - gives him time to play with his IPod though.
I'm off the allotment after lunch.
Hugs tootti - of course you can offload here. Please take it really easy though.
funfairprincess - been meaning to say that I love your smileys!
G&B Well done!!!:T:T:T
