Just totalled up what I owe my parents again and it's shot up to a tummy flipping height. £350 of it they don't want until November, and £100 will be paid off in a big chunk at the end of the month but that still leaves me with £155 to tackle, so I think I'll set a mini challenge to get that cleared before the end of July. Which is easily done I think!
Tete - I'd love to collect Snowglobes from everywhere I go, I think they're fantastic! (I turn into a 5 year old if I go anywhere near my sisters collection) plus it'll give me something to look at all droopy eyed when I'm old and housebound.0 -
Glad you had a nice time but sorry to hear the hotel wasn't too good. think me and Oh must have been lucky when we went as ours was quite cheap and really nice! Was about 4 years ago though!0

Are your holiday savings on hold for the moment then Cinny?
Doing a survey, one of the questions, 'Which of the following issues do you suffer with during your sleep?'
I twitch in my sleep
I snore
I steal the duvet in my sleep
I talk in my sleep
I scream in my sleep
I toss & turn in my sleep
I cry in my sleep
I shout in my sleep
I laugh in my sleep
I walk in my sleep
I have sex in my sleep
I eat in my sleep
Which one of those stands out as something downright wierd?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Haha, even taking the obvious one into account, people who scream in their sleep freak me out beyond belief!
They are on hold for the moment, although I've decided that instead of treating myself to the Kenwood mixer at the end of July if I meet my target I'll use the treat money to put the deposit down on the holiday. Then the £20 extra I'm giving to my parents, instead of being spent on diet coke, can be put into a saver to cover the rest of the holiday money and some spends too (she says)0 -
I think your savings are getting almost as baffling as mine!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
