I watched that gastric band thing the other night too Wendz, made me feel all skinny and gorgeous :S

That was bonkers! The Surgeon man (Mr Super?!) sempt obsessed with beige, I suppose if I had his job I'd get abit beige crazy myself. I liked the 17 year old who was doing it all with exercise, the older woman who had the band fitted (Husband called Tank or whatever) I really wanted to slap her, mainly for feeding her baby KFC chips! Made me feel quite skinny too Tete, and I'm a bit tubby in places!

Sounds like you're on the ball today Tete, don't forget the biscuits with that cuppa! Never heard of marshmallow cookie sandwiches either! Sound amazing though!

The cookie thingies are brill! I got the idea from M&S, a few years back they had things called BBQ Biscuits, there were 4 in a foil tray and it was a double choc chip cookie, a layer of choc fudge sauce, a layer of mini marshmallows and another cookie! They were gorgeous after being stuck on the barbie for 5 minutes and eaten with ice cream! Yumyumyumyum. We had to improvise last night, toasting the marshmallows on our tiny bbq and burning our fingers trying to squash them onto the cookie! (sainsbury's huge choc chips cookies from the bakery) OH had marshmallow gunk all over his mouth all night!

I really like the Snow White dress, I think the top is so pretty but the overall effect is really simple, yet princessy! I want to be a Disney Bride!:D

I didn't see that Gastric Band thing, I could have done with watching something to make me feel skinny!

    Morning all.

Last nights free trip to the theatre was fun, and a pretty different date to our usual. Have to admit the performance didn't grab me though, I prefer pure drama, dancing housewives don't do it for me!

NIM has been offered more days on the farm next week, so he'll be doing 5 days there as well as 4 poss 5 evenings in the call centre, which is good as it means we actually meet our outgoings.

Very excited for tomorrow, DFD! Feel like I ought to be doing something to celebrate really, bottle of champagne at the very least!

NIM is going to need to go into town on Monday to open the ISA (keep hoping a better one will pop up but no luck!) and I'm opening a second Egg saver in his name this evening for saving the rent. Think I need to get a little book or something to write down all our account names and numbers!

Tomorrow? *claps* You should go out for a drink at least, more importantly where will we be moving too once you're DF?! I can't believe the debt has almost all gone, so so so happy for you!

Dancing Housewives? What did you go and see?!

Oooh, Dinah how exciting! I've just been looking for a money off Champagne voucher for you (no point spending more than you need!) but I think the voucher I was after has expired now! I tried though!
The book of account names and numbers sounds like a good idea, you must have so many now! I can't keep track of the 3 I have (am closing one as soon as DDs have been sorted!). Just keep it safe!

I have a £40 off of Virgin Wines at home but I think a whole case might be a little too much - even to celebrate DFness!!

Going by your LBM2 date you've cleared 16k of debt in 9 months?! You really should write that e-book you were talking about pages (and pages and pages..) ago. I'd read it!

Lol you effectively already read it!

We're not going anywhere don't worry, just going to start a new thread here for a new start.

Went to see Darlington Operatic Society's production, some musical set on a cruise ship, we spent a whole scene trying to work out if two of the 'women' in the chorus were actually men in drag. We were the only people in the audience not yet drawing a pension.

LOL Dinah! At least it was free, did you get milky tea and soft biscuits during the interval?
I think that you should write that e-book too! I know it's on here but there's a lot of [strike]drivel[/strike] non-related chatter around it!

Nah it was at the proper theatre not a village hall - got overpriced little icecreams, and NIM proceeded to loose his and a woman the row in front squarked when it made a chilly arrival in her shoe!

Not sure I have time for an ebook, started the painting again, and apparently I need to stop avoiding the ironing *pouts*

It's mature conversation Birdie *ahem* But if you could make a bit of money on the back of the debt it wouldn't be too bad!

Another bonus to not getting the £9 Blackpool rooms. Me and OH are going to go to London on that date instead, found a lodge for £44 a night. Find some free things to do and not waste all my money on grabber machines.

Just seen this on Martins weekly thingamagjig

Tempting but I know I won't be accepted for it! I can easily get £100 spendies a month, and the £30 vouchers would be a good help for birthdays and what not!
