Rach - hope the funeral was fitting. And well done on having so many advanced bookings!
Rosep - glad you got your engagement ring back
Mudders - hope you have a lovely weekend away
Triker - hugs to you and OH. Doggie's not been checked yet. I'm plucking up the courage to make the appointment
Snuck out an hour earlier this afternoon which was nice. As DS was still at work, the hallway was clear of his bike so you'll be pleased to know I took the opportunity to quickly clean the floor!

Back safely from dentist's, although still too numb to risk a cup of tea and I'm really thirsty!
Everyone seems to be working hard today!:hello:
Jo -'stuff that doesnt actually have a place to go'- yes, me too!! It was quite a revelation when it finally dawned on me that the reason the house was drowning in clutter was because a) we had too much stuff and b) we didn't have the right storage for the things we wanted or needed to keep! That's why I couldn't ever clean properly and quickly because I spent most of my time re-locating. I've been working on that since. It may encourage you to know that the main bedroom took me a year to get clear enough to decorate and fit new wardrobes! It's not finished yet, but well on the way. My easy rooms are the kitchen (1 hour to do), livingroom (30 mins - well, nearly there, just one bookshelf to fit), and the bathroom (30 mins).
hex - how are you today? My Daphne odora was smelling gorgeous this morning! Can we have a photo of the puppy please! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Jo -'stuff that doesnt actually have a place to go'- yes, me too!!
that makes 3 of us althgough we are slowly going through the clutter aand so that should make things easier next week. The kitchen is definitely much better and give us heart for the other rooms.
Tried to go through the thread but it seems to be really moving quickly. Hugs to all that need them.
Phil xDivorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!0 -
Much better thanks for asking Serena - just sometimes everything gets a bit overwhelming.
Not sure how well they will turn out - did them on my low res phone camera earlier, he is currently asleep on my foot so can't do some fresh ones, or go and make tea. He is about the size of a cat at the moment.
I have managed to do half an hour on the playroom which looks a lot better, and do the dailies and hoover downstairs. Todays list isn't looking too good though:
Funky Friday - Brats rooms, spare rooms or wherever!

awwww HEX (s)he is gorgeous!!!!
i completly forgot to say: Rosepink i am so glad you've found your ring :T
kids had their dinner, i've ordered new printer cartridges online (via quidco :money::D) and i've also bought OH's australian wiring regulations books :T
re 'easy rooms': my easy rooms are lounge and all bedrooms, kids use theirs only for sleeping really - they have to playroom for making a mess
so my hardest room are playroom, bathroom and kitchen when i don't stay on top.
i won't mention OH's office ... sometimes i wish it wasn't part of the house
i don't have anything on the floors - and no 'obvious' clutter!
i do have some hidden away hotspots which are on my 'long term project' list :rolleyes:0 -
he is gorgeousPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
