    can't - I'm booked for ironing all over Derbyshire:rotfl:
Glad you found the ring Rosey!
In all honesty - and like Serena said - it's being on here for a while, having seriously decluttered and the HHcs - cos now I know I can get on with it - what's that law - work expands to fill the time available.
The rooms I can always do quickly are the lounge - not much in there - and nothing on the sill (thank goodness for vertical blinds) and I have a system, and also the bathroom - likewise I have a system - so I do the same things in the same order and it's quick but thorough.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

I just typed a reply and it didnt work -

Anyway, I get exactly what you mean - I just havent been doing it long enough so am not quite there yet.

My lounge is the same, and there isnt much in there, I have no mantle to collect clutter and I have patio doors in there, so no window sills! I only have a lamp table and a TV unit to collect rubbish - normally left by the chief messmaker and consists of toys, wii games, DS paraphenalia (sp) and the likes!

My bedroom is the same; relatively tidy - no floordrobe to speak of - but the result of that is most of my drawers are a mess!! Anwyay - I tend to hide in those rooms and seek sanctuary from the messy rooms.......the messy rooms only get done when the list forces me into one of them! However!! The result of that is that my spare room actually is a spare room!! My dining room is a dining room!! The boxes which have been camping in there for months have been moved into my living room, which is really annoying - but that also means that I will stop hiding from them and actually deal with them! One has already been emptied and binned, filed and shredded as appropriate already!

The boxes are stuff that doesnt actually have a place to go and I just hide from it!

This weekend - now that they are sitting somewhere I can see them, I plan to declutter the sky planner and catch up on CSI, Criminal Minds and Heroes and empty said boxes!! I will also watch some of them upstairs whilst I go through my chests of drawers and clear out!!

Anyway, my point is that my 'Quick' rooms are now a mess too - but hopefully I can clear out the stuff I keep putting off and then ALL the rooms will show the benefits!!

    Babysteps, babysteps!!!!

Can I have some FAB weather vibes please for WAles, hopefully let me tidy up some more of my garden, clean my car and chase away the black dog!!!

    Hugs to all xx

I've found it! Yay! It was in DH's underwear drawer. I started taking everything out and I got about half way through and there it was!

    What a relief for you.
  • Just popped out to the PO and nearly exposed my butt to the world - was trotting across the road when my trousers nearly fell off - just caught them in time - a nice feeling tho' a trifle embarrassing, definately a wardrobe malfunction (and it ain't half cold out there!) 000200B8.gif
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Likklegibbon - that's not a wardrobe malfunction - that's weight loss - I grinned when I kept having to hoik up my briefs and realised that it wasn't the elastic it was that my bum was too tiny to keep them up!
    Go you!
Jo keep going, in babysteps, and you will get there - and you won't have to get Kim and Aggie (and a skip) round!
And well done you for not having a floordrobe!
Personally I think everyone needs to have at least one room clear and restful - preferably the bedroom - cos it's so depressing otherwise.

Phew! I saw your message when I was about to go out, and then had to scour the thread to make sure you had found it! Plans were scuppered today, because I managed to drop baby on her head on the laminate floor, so took her off to a&e to make sure no damage done. By the time we got there she was grinning at the doctors but I was still trying not to cry and with shaking hands!

I hope she hasn't inherited my clumsiness, that's all I can say. Will post my updated list later... preferably when I've done a bit more of it!
