Weekly Flylady Thread 9th March 2009

Friday is the only day I don't work, I had been hoping to get more done before today, but anyway, I have finished the lists today ALL LISTS COMPLETED! I can hardly believe it, I am now working down the outstanding list of my own creation - it will be a miracle if I can ever say that has been completed, but plodding on. Hugs to all that need them, I've only been on this thread for a couple of weeks but I'm already moved by the level of friendship on here, and also it is a good reminder that others are dealing with all sorts of problems as well, its sometimes easy to think that we have the worst problems, lives etc, I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!!

both kids went to nursery in the end and OH and i drove to a nearby depot (saved us the ebay delivery costs) to get a new car(booster)seat for dd - she loves it! she's a big girl now - was quite an adventure really, somewhere in the sticks :eek:

Toots - I have finished Thursdays list

Not sure how much more of todays list will get done. DH went to 'look' at a Border Collie puppy this morning, and (rather predictably for someone who was just going to have a look) came back with one :rolleyes: . One of our existing dogs is a collie cross so we know just what we are taking on.

YES!!!! I did zero (ZERO!!!) items last night!!! not a single one!!! I set up the ironing board with the best of intentions which is still set up in my living room!!! :mad: That seriously annoyed me this morning, but its my own fault!!

In my defense I was dealing with new washing machine and trying to fight/wrestle with the old one!! :rolleyes:


Will do it tonight, and will come on for my kicking later!!

Hurrah :j :j :j Managed almost an hour in the garden!! Now off to take the cakes in to DD.... Feel a little Knackered though as all done and gardening too.. I am going to ache tomorrow. Love to all you gorgeous flyers

My bedroom and I have hoovered through the kids rooms...just to keep the floors clear (not least because of the gerbils) and vacuumed the stairs.
Dining room to do then it's a full house (and TBH it's not bad anyway;))
I love being a flylady!

I've found it! Yay! It was in DH's underwear drawer. I started taking everything out and I got about half way through and there it was!

Have also cleaned th bathroom, and am going to have a nice nap after DM.

Personal list:
Wash up – one sinkful done today
Write cards/letters to friends
Sort out working tax credits
Rebook hair appointment

MACAW: Clear a hotspot and keep it clear for a week (LR floor still clear after two weeks!) next to bed from last week needs more work

Sweep and mop the floor - DH to hoover soon

Clean all those small appliances and give 1 a thorough clean.

Vacuum floors - DH to hoover soon
dust the fluff away

[strike]Scrub the bath, basin and loo
Scrub down the tiles[/strike]
[STRIKE]Wash any bath mats[/STRIKE] it’s only just dried from last week, so not going to wash it again this week

1. Clean the windows and mirrors
2. delete 50 unwanted emails!
3. [STRIKE]Clean out the vacuum cleaner.. wash the filters etc make sure all are dry before rebuilding! [/STRIKE]done recently by DH without me asking

Wobbly Wednesday - Living room

Vacuum/sweep all the floors DH to do vacuuming
Vacuum/sweep under furniture you can safely move! DH to do vacuuming
Vacuum sofas DH to do vacuuming

Wash the windows
[STRIKE]Wash any soft furnishings that need it [/STRIKE]they are only just back on from being washed at the weekend
Wipe down ALL the paintwork!

1. Wipe and water plants
2. Dust all the electricals.. carefully.. don't want any frazzled flybodies
