I just wanted to say thanks for the e-mails, Toots, they are making time go by quicker while I wait to go to the airport then I can have a little drink when I get back, it is Friday afer all!!!!!

Not got any tea dishes tonoght as OH got something before he came home and DD and I went to pizza hut after school:D


Not sure what happened there, sorry!!!

Just come back from meeting up with NN and Gordon. A pleasant couple of hours interlude.

Got some more info about dotty old woman's walk about yesterday. Seems she got picked up by an ambulance that was called by someone unknown. Time unknown. About half an hour after old g*t's phone call to the police, they called back and said there's a woman answering that description at the local hospital. She was taken in, according to the Police, because her blood pressure seems a little high.

Seems when old g*t got to the hospital, DoWtold him her arm hurt (she hadn't told anyone else). They investigated and she must have had a fall because she's got a compound wrist fracture. By the time this was discovered, it had become displaced so they had to reset it. Which must have been really, really painful for her. No wonder her blood pressure was high when the ambulance attended her!

Old g*t told NN that there were bramble spikes and things down her coat so clearly she took a tumble into some foliage. But no-one knows where, and no-one knows when. Old g*t is finally showing some serious concern and is trying to find out what actually happened to her. She was missing for over two hours. If he can find out where the ambulance picked her up, he knows to look there next time she goes walkabout.

Hey ho. That's all rather depressing - I'm sorry!

I shall now go and do something for dinner - my bacon and pasta I think - quick, easy and tasty.

And find something decent to watch on TV.

Oh, and I forgot to mention earlier, I had my annual water bill in today. I'm not metered, I'm done on old rateable values. There are two elements to my water stuff - sewerage and water. The water come today - it's gone DOWN by £2.30 for the year.

I'm staggered! This must be the only utility bill that has reduced in price!

mines gone up by about £150 BUT I'll be saving about £300 on the council tax once I'm at uni so i'm not going to complain too loudly... I think i'm due a utility bill though which will be a crippler!
