Does anyone know if DTD policy applies if you have been overcharged for an item wrongly price stickered? I bought a cd which was stickered £3 and was charged £5, but I only got £2 back. Sorry, I realise this thread is not for discussion but didn't know where else to post.0

Yes DTD does apply there. You should have had £4 back.0 -

Yes it certainly does, you can always go back to customer services or deal with Dundee by phone to get the balance if they give you any hassle, no need to apologise for asking as there isn't a more appropriate place to ask.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Nice find Gatos. :T
To clarify the argument would be that 6x4.6p per egg would equate to 27.6p per box of 6, so lets round that up to 28p as I dont carry .6p coins... so an overcharge of 72p per box x2 = £1.44 refund per box = £2.88 in total.
The SEL should read £1 (16.6p per egg) to be correct
Never come across this type of misprice but I would argue that if it is on the SEL then it is well worth a punt, although you most certainly will face opposition.
Anyone else tried this type of misprice before?
My local store also had this still on the SEL. Was discussing with bf about trying for DTD ,when a woman was buying them and asking what I was discussing:D
Took them to CS, they had to call for the manager, who then went to check the shelves (with bf), she came back and was going to give me my quid back. Had to mention a couple of times about DTD before that was clarified. They did take the SEL off the shelf and stated that they were going to query the unit price with head office, so if you want to try it then get in there quick!!

Me and my mum got a good dtd today at one of our local tesco's. We bought some dog harnesses that were in a box marked £2 although the sel said £3. they went through at £3 so i popped back an got some more before paying lol.
We then went to cs who were only goin to refund us £1 per harness instead of dtd. We stood our ground an after a fone call to the duty manager an then bein ignored until another cs person came along as she obviously didnt want to back down to us we then got our dtd an £2 per harness back. That meant we paid £1 per harness not bad for sumthin we needed and a lot cheaper than the pet shop lol!!!!0 -
