This cannot be good news for those of us who take the supermarkets up on their policy of accepting coupons against general shopping, and i presume from what you say and the fact that you are on this thread, that this applies to you too.
It's the hypocrisy that bugs me - such as reporting others who use or flog coupons to ebay or the manufacturers whilst being complicit with Mr T fleecing the manufacturers.
The sentiment "I only give these bits of paper to Mr T - it's nothing to do with me if he redeems them" has cropped up too, which I'm happy to agree with. But cos I'm not bothered what they do with them, I don't try to preach what can be used and where."the people who sell on e-bay is that they are knowingly selling coupons that either a, the supermarkets don't accept or b, they do accept buy can't redeem."
But I've seen criticism of those who sell copies of pdf coupons that are totally legit by people who use the same coupon themselves! . A friend of mine had some right !!!!!! sabotage her auction months ago (think that was the Mitchums too) even though the coupons were redeemable everywhere at the time.

I'm not getting involved now as it's a bit late/all been said, however it's amazing how many people have an opinion in an arguement that have never posted on this thread before:rolleyes:
I've checked the thread plenty of times but the catalyst for me posting was seeing some of the comments made last night. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Tescoisace, I think I've answered that a couple of posts above. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Coupon Girl - you miss my point. I happily screw Mr T with my coupon use. I don't really care what others try to put thru the till either.

I've no problem with anyone reporting an ebay seller who's selling totally fake coupons that can't be used anywhere, or some massive scam like the Betty Crockers.
But I've seen criticism of those who sell copies of pdf coupons that are totally legit by people who use the same coupon themselves! . A friend of mine had some right !!!!!! sabotage her auction months ago (think that was the Mitchums too) even though the coupons were redeemable everywhere at the time.

I suppose I just see the coupon thing as a win win situation. Tesco gets my custom, the manufacturer raises the profile of their product and I get money off my shopping.
My only objection is to coupons that are not legit being sold.
So I guess we mostly agree, but thanks for the debate.“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.”:D0 -

No doubt this is why the Mitchum coupon is now refused at T's. I think the .pdf you are referring to was someone else's work on this thread errr plagerism springs to mind.AKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©
