Evening all
My Mamma Mia DVD arrived today! :T:j:T
Gryfon - loved the joke!
Soappie - what a lovely daughter! Enjoy it.
Johanne - no you are not!You are a young mum who needs a bit of time to herself to be "Johanne". No one would doubt how much you adore Sarah, but every one needs a bit of "me" time and you deserve it as much as anyone else. Feeling unwell does not help, and regardless of whether XOH is planning to move out, he's still her father and as such should accept some responsibility. Methinks you should try putting your foot down with a firm hand, especially about him moving out! (I assume he isn't paying rent to lodge with you? :rolleyes:) If you need to go somewhere/do something and he isn't at work - he's in charge. I cannot believe he would even interrupt your "bathtime". That is unacceptable and childish behaviour in the extreme. Big hugs, hun. Also, you say you can't afford nursery (which I know is not cheap) but don't want to burden your mother. Could you recompense her in some way - maybe not money, but a gift of time? Having her granddaughter to spoil may be exactly what she wants! With regards to your other post about not being nasty, we know you;re not nasty, but he's playing you like a fiddle, love, and the longer you let him get awy with having the best of both worlds, the longer he will string it out. I can guarantee when he goes out with his "mates", he'll be lapping up all the attention about being a wonderful father! (oops, getting cynical now!) He definitely needs "The Order of The Boot!"
OJK - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: re - the hose! My DH and I share jobs fairly well, cooking, washing up etc, although I tend to do more cleaning, ironing than him because he can work long hours and is often away with the ACF, but he will clean and iron when necessary, although I usually give him a list. If he has a list, he'll just work through it, doesn't always think of things without one. :rolleyes:
Re: Disability Aids - if you have a Lloyds Chemists near you (I worked for Alan Lloyd when he only had two shops!) they have a catalogue of aids which they will order in for you.
Valli - my car's filthy, if they fancy expanding the business (and we're a 2-car family), or maybe they could start a Franchise! :rotfl:
Oh and I know Markeaton Park. I went to Homelands Grammar School in Littleover, used to live in Whittaker Road.
AnW's mum - congratulations to Miss A. :T:T:T
Toottifrootti - hilarious!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Angelnikki - I's so sorry for your situation, especially with your health problems. Is there no where you can go to for support to help you relocate? You may get some advice from AfME.
I sorted my sister's Christmas present today. We've got a family photo that I need to get a nice frame for, but also http://www.amazon.co.uk/Together-Salvation-Army/dp/B001DMJA28/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1227386868&sr=8-1 and I might get that for my brother as well, but it's not out until Monday, but other than that still not made much progress!
On the other hand, DH needed some new work boots, so we went into town this afternoon for them, then went on to the retail park for a browse around TK Maxx and B & Q (pricing laminate etc). It was really nice to be just us for a while, :happyhearwe're so busy with work and when we do go out, it's often with DS (coz he rarely goes out without one of us as he needs transport).

Me too, toots! I think my ironing pile breeds overnight! Maybe you and I should have a challenge to see if we can both clear our ironing before New Year's Eve!!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
