  • Hi everyone.

Finally on the same page as the rest of you. GandB, thanks for the PM - i've sent you one back.

Is it just me, or is the internet in general playing up today, not here, but quidco and facebook aren't working.

Anyway, flying update while the boys are napping:
    • WM - load of bedding, load of DH's stuff, and now a load of bibs
    • TD - put in the bedding
    • I cleaned the dining table, but you wouldn't think so now
I've been doing some crafty bits with the boys. Charlie did some gluing and sticking, Sam was finger painting (which didn't last long as he was then trying to eat the paper.) I then had a brainwave and taped the paper to the dining table, and gave him a chunky pen, then he tried to eat the pen, and now has blue pen on his face and hands. :rotfl: Anyway, it was fun. Charlie had a great time.

Just watching home and away and don't know what we will do when the boys wake up, but i don't think much housework will get done. I desperately need to do some ironing tonight seems though tea is pretty much sorted.

Coming back has made such a difference. Posting a list out in the public ether really makes me want to do stuff so I can cross it off...gosh, that makes me sound sad!!

I hope all of you who aren't well or have children who aren't well are holding it all together....

I am adding to my list have 5 minutes bawling my eyes out for absolutely no apparent reason... and then 5 minutes pasting on the slap to cover up red puffy eyes and a red runny nose..

I may need to offload while blubbering so please ignore me and let me ramble.. then I do not want sympathy I want a slap in the head anad to be told I do feel better now.. even if I look like death.. and a dose of 'get a grip' would be welcome.

    1. Right now I feel like a $h!tty parent and I want to run because I am starting to feel myself heading there again.. and it is a dark place I don't want to be. (BIG TIME EDIT)

    2. I don't want to do the school run... I don't want to chance the crazy woman speaking to me again because I already have a cracked nail and I don't want to break it on her face.. and it will take one word today for me to smash her.. I am so not a nice person.

    3. If I was such a 'alright' parent why is DS1 such a waste of atoms and water?

    4. and a million other things that I feel way too inappropriate to post here for fear of who might read them.. yes worse than those 3..

Pigpen - I wish I was half as good as you. When the black cloud lifts you will remember that you are OK. And DS1 is his own person. You may influence your children but they are still responsible for their own behaviour in the end. And one day I'm sure he will be fine.

    Hi guys

Lil_me woot woot! what a fab amount, wish I could do that
G&B glad littley has gone back to school, I'm sure she'll be fine...isn't it a great feeling knowing they're well enough for school again.
Johanne was gonna get my OH one of those alrm clock thingies but then I saw the price - no chance he's already getting a pallet of thermailtes for chrissy....will wait to see if they're in the jan sale :D

Just got in from work....this morning I don't know what came over me but I prepped the veg for tea, collected washing and set the washer away, de-junked the worst room in the house (pc room/spare room) ready for cleaning, hung out some bedding which *looks* should be almost dry now but best get them n cause it's getting cold (er) sorted littley out, made the beds and was all ready for work with 15 mins to spare  :j So now the plan is to cut the front grass before it gets dark cause the front of the house looks very uncared for, think I only cut it twice all year :o so it's long.....then on with the list and make the tea.

Littleys out for a meal tonight with ma-in-laws rellies so she wont be back till 8ish maybe not quite sure  so lots of time to do stuff. Right. Off to get the lawnmower out before it gets dark
