These above sorted done and dusted.

    on the go with:
    Endeavour
    Click
    Twopart/Eloan

Then onto Lloyds with the 4 loans ppi, not sure how far to go back, think these are from 2001 + here maybe 2002+.

Then between me and hubby we have 3 in with the FOS Credit card PPI.
The Lloyds ones should all be ok as they were a Bank and most banks come under compulsory jurisdiction. Also they mostly had to be regulated by the FSA in December 2001.

By the look of here Lloyds came under the Banking Ombudsman

Mr credit card complaint is that of 2001 (January), and I was not sure then if these were covered for the FOS at the time, but when receiving the final response from Lloyds they mentioned we are eiligble for the FOS and enclosed a leaflet, also one of my husband's Credit card is that of 2001 and the other last year.;)

Tiggrae says it up to the individual adjudicator as to whether they can over rule the thing about the banking ombudsman scheme so gotta be worth trying as they were a bank.

Was this after the first letter to them as this is their usual response. You now need to send another and ask that they provide a final response. When you get this one if they still do not uphold it then you can take this to the FOS. You have to give them 8 weeks from the first letter of complaint for this final response.

Don't worry, its quite normal for them to say these things and it does not mean you have lost...

Yes - this is after my first letter. It has taken 15 weeks for them to give me this first response.

This again is normal for Barclays... Now if you have proof of your first complaint you an go to the FOS without a final response as its over 8 weeks.

Here we go again 2nd attempt
    I claimed back against egg.
Success got letter back saying they were refunding m e, however as the loan is still active they have paid the money into my loan account , reduced my term by approx 1 year but my payments remain the same.I did not want my repayment this way but wanted it back in cash/cheque/or into my current account.I rang egg to discuss this and was told it was company policy and i had agreed to this under terms and conditions when i took out the loan.I pointed out that could not be the case as a term and condition of this nature implied that they knew it was an illegal action to force insurance on me and the resulting action should i claim would be what they have applied. The lady i spoke with then informed me she did not have the authority to alter her companies policy i asked could she pas sm eon to someone who could escalte my claim , 2 minutes later she came back and had spoken to a team leadre " on his way to a meeting" who dismissed my query and again stated she had followed company policy. I was wandering has someone else had the same problem with having refund paid into loan ?.Can Egg do this ? Any ideas folks? Obviously I am about to take claim to ombudsman but would like feedback
    Thanks

Have you acepted their offer here in writing... Also have they put you back into the position as if you never had the PPI at all. That means all the PPI back including interest added onto the loan and statutory interest too. If you post the figures on here someone can check you are not being fleeced again here and as regards the payment. I think you can demand it as a cheque and not that it be taken off the loan. If they do not play ball as you want then i would let the FOS deal with it for you.

This is the one I want fast tracked,(Lloyds), I was a homemaker when they added ppi on this and as always nothing explained, it was sold face to face, where we were told where to sign, not even given the chance to read anything on the form.

Even though hubby was working he was sold a separate agreement to me, but at the same time, if I remember rightly he was then covered at work anyway, but nothing was explained, just sign and go sort of attitude.... .

On his last years CC, no statements came until 2 months later and no policy agreement for 3 months, luckily we have the letter from the bank who apologised for the delay in sending this as my hubby did not know he was given ppi, this again was not mentioned, my hubby was sat in the bank with me and she came along and said just sign this, it looked a lot different to the older agreement and we could not even see the ppi on the agreement.

When hubby complained to them to get a refund on this suddenly an agreement came back and tick for ppi, that was not there when hubby signed for the new CC.
