Hi folks
A heads-up for those with multiple Advantage Cards registered at their address...
A friend of mine told me the other day that Boots "Profit Protection Group" has cancelled several advantage cards registered at her address. (Each family member had their own card and each parent had signed up to the Parenting Club.)
Boots have actually accused her of fraudulent activity! She's rather pi55ed off given that no phantom pregnancies have been invented in her case.
I just wanted to warn others that Boots may be having a bit of a crackdown on multiple accounts. (I don't keep up with the thread these days, so sorry if it's already been mentioned.)
I think if you've got tons of points on several cards and have had a phantom pregnancyyou might want to be a bit careful. (My mate lost a load of unused points.)

That sounds like what I probably smell like when I hit Sainsburys after my usual Friday night Bootsing...
Well what's the point of spraying testers onto those stupid little bits of card - I want to know what the perfume smells like on ME - different perfumes smell differently on different people, so what smells great on one person might not suit someone else quite as well.
:rotfl:
I agree! Though I do love to squirt it on a bit of card from time to time to keep in my handbag - makes everything smell lovely!"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
On the subject of perfumes...this is what the Boots website has to say about Pure Poison Elixir:
"Pure Poison changes into pure magic and becomes Pure Poison Elixir, a new olfactory interpretation of Pure Poison. Its voluptuous narcotic floral fragrance is a sensual and carnal philtre. Sambac jasmine and orange blossom, that beat in its heart, fascinate and subjugate. A bulb atomiser celebrates the precious sophisticated fragrance ritual, ally of an eternal seduction."
Can anyone translate into English what that means please?
I work in an academic world (well an archive actually) and I have NO idea what they are banging on about.
I only wanted to know if it was like normal Pure Poison but just a little stronger :rolleyes:DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Simple...open handbag, squirt perfume in bag.
Job done :T
(I am of course joking ladies...the thought of spraying perfume inside any of my beloved Suzy Smith handbags threatens to bring me out in hives)

I know boosters are excited about their deals, and my little posts gets lost amongst them, and with the girls on here not knowing me, as its been a while since I regularly posted(before I was pregnant with my daughter, I was so sick during pregnancy and havent had the time since!!), I suppose thats why I could get ignored!!:(
Yes, I agree, it is her first birthday, and proper christmas where she is aware somats going on, but she wont remember, so I dont intend on going mad, I have nearly £60 in boots points which I intend on spending on her, and I have a few other bits I have bought in sales, so my priority is to get her an upsy daisy who she adores, I feel better knowing I have made good headway for my boys at least, I managed to get them some stuff off bargain crazy in sale and using 17% code off last night and amazon using survey gift vouchers I had earned to pay for the goodies.:T
Thankyou for your support, and a very happy birthday to your little one on xmas eve X Oh, and yes, I shall be enjoying a glass or 3 of wine, cheers!
Sorry Moneypennyless,
I certainly wasn't intentionally ignoring you - I didn't know the answer to your question - and I guess no-one else knew anything definite either! I'm sure it wasn't intentional on anyone's part. I answer if I think I can add some value, but I'm not sure it would be any help for us all to reply with "I don't know"
As soon as anyone does know anything with regard to a sale, I'm sure it will be posted here - so I guess it's a case of watching this space!0 -
Have read back many pages but can't find answer - can anyone help
Is the No7 mascara reduced to £5 in all stores and if so which one is it?

Pure Poison elixir has a slightly different smell to pure poison (so we can charge you more)...It's big floral smell will make you feel sensual and sexy and is addicitive. The jasmine and orange blosson smell will make you want to bow down and worship it. (probably so we can charge you more for the experience of using it) The round spray bottle is like old fashioned bottles (so we can charge more..)and will take you back to the heyday of the 20's when perfume was the must have accessory. (And for this we will charge you more.)Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
