Bring up your e-mails. Click on options, top right, then click mail options. On the right hand side click signature, and follow the instructions. This is how i do it, i'm on yahoo.

It's an almost identical method to add a signature on Hotmail.

    1) On right hand side select options
    2) Select 'Personal e-mail signature' from the 'customize your mail' list.
    3) Write your signature and save.

Also if anyone is using Mozilla Thunderbird and wants to add a signature to their emails, there is an add on I use called "quicktext" which is available here:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/640

I have set up various signatures for me and the kids. Some include 'Answer:', others include age or there is one with just my basic details. It makes it really quick to enter email comps as I only need to enter the subject, select the 'quicktext' option and then add the answer if required.
:T*Thanks to all who posts comps * :j

Thanks for that kisto - I never realised you could do that :o:D

I've always c&p'd my details from a draft email, should have known there'd be an easier way, lol! x

Did you follow the instructions on the page:
    How to Install in Thunderbird
    1. Right-click the link below and choose "Save Link As..." to download and save the file to your hard disk.
    2. In Mozilla Thunderbird, open Add-ons from the Tools menu.
    3. Click the Install button, and locate/select the file you downloaded and click "OK".
You basically download and save it to your pc. Then open Thunderbird and follow step 2 & 3 highlighted above. It should work if you do it that way.

Yep, that worked thanks very much, my brain still hasn't got enough caffeine this morning to follow instructions properly :rotfl:

Don't worry because I made exactly the same mistake as you when I first tried to install a Thunderbird add on! You get into the habit of saving/opening files that way and it confuddles you when they expect you to do it a different way huh?!!!!

Time for caffeine o'clock me thinks! :p

Why do people feel the need to post an answer, when it's already been posted, the comp has been going for a week, the OP has been thanked a zillion times

"Thanks for the comp". Take a look at their previous posts and they ALL say something similar.

    Just having a moan:D
