I tried calling, but just got the answering machine advising me to call during office hours.
I think I remember seeing somewhere that the information regarding each specific job should override the assignment notes - or was it the other way around? It sounds likely though that the details specific to the assignment should be adhered to.
Yes, I would agree. TNS do this as well -give a range of dates and then you when you click to find out more, they'll quite often specify a particular day (tho not so much the time).0 -
I had a TNS phone call and the notes said weekday reservation and the scenario specifics said weekend. I called to check and was told to go with the specific scenario rather than general notes.
was thinking of you people who do millions of assignments in one go! I did 4 today (was only doing 2 until about 5pm!) and have just been writing them all up since 9pm. exhausted! all done now.
Oh and I managed to forget to check the left and right of somewhere but figured it out. Couldnt do it the way HP managed to but heres how if anyone else gets stuck. I found out what number the place was on the street. it was number 39. then I searched in google for "38 the street" and it came up with it. ditto for 40. phew!0 -
After appalling service in a burger 'restaurant' today I was approached by a member of staff, clearly sent by the manager who said, 'My boss is a little concerned. Because you asked for a receipt and had to wait a long time for your food he wonders if you're from G********. It's just we get mystery shopped by them'.
I quickly said something about expenses covering it BUT I wished I'd invited the manager over and asked him his price to make a top notch report to appear in place of what's about to! What did they expect to gain from all that?!
Chabta I would urge you to inform G****** of this. I know the company from working for them and they would certainly like to know of this. Providing you denied your a MS'er you are in the clear but I would let them know in case your negative report backfires on you. For instance they could be downright nasty and say you said you were a MS'er which would break your T's and C's with G*******
I am just trying to help as something a bit similar happened to me once and when my negative report went in the s*** hit the fan and the clients made of a load of lies about how I had conducted the assignment. But because I had forewarned the MS company the backed me to the hilt.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Oh no - how did I miss that !!! thanks Cookinmumy0 -
This may be a very silly question, but some jobs say that you shouldn't have visited the shop for 3 months. Do they mean as a mystery shopper or at all? It seems to come up a lot with supermarkets, which are one of the places that I would imagine that you could go in every day and it not be noted.Oct Challenges: Make £5 a day - £5.18/£155 Grocery Challenge - £0/£2000

As a mystery shopper.

Are you sure it's a "nice little petrol job", cranezoe, or are you being taken for a ride by Gap? I recently turned down 2 petrol jobs that they so very kindly offered me when they wanted me to do an out-of-my-way job - because the payment for the job wouldn't even have covered the amount that they ask you to spend and there is no fee either! I explained it fully in the report. It took me aback when he came over and asked me! The only time anything like that happened before was when doing a nightclub one for the same company and I'd had a few beers. Their card machine wasn't working and when I insisted they tried another machine the manager came over. He asked me and I just smiled. We spent the rest of the night in the VIP area and didn't have to buy another beer.
It may not have been right but it was fun at the time!0
