Travel lodge £10 rooms

Thought someone may be interested as I just went into, Travel Lodge £10 a room, through an old MSE site and found that it looks like they have extended their offer as rooms were available for the dates I required at the end of January (previously they had stated that those dates were not included in offer). Sorry but I didn't check when the offer closes but it will be worth a look if you are going away soon.
Happy New Year to you all. Lola the Cat :snow_laug

  • Hello,

When I checked yesterday it looked like they were running until the end of February as I checked for Valentines Day. We have just returned from 2 lovely nights in Edinburgh. This is a great offer they keep doing.

The £10 rooms are available throughout the year - well up to Nov 2006 anyway. Just click on the £10 block on the TL main page.

Which is the best London travelodge to stay in ? I live in Edinburgh, so train would be going into Kingscross.

Somewhere central, and near touristy stuff and West End area ? I know I might not get a £10 room, but £26 would still be goog

    Cheers

Most of the London TLs (except Holborn) seem to have £26 rooms on various dates. Haven't seen any £10 rooms though!

Click on Find-a-Hotel at the top of the page and let your fingers do the walking on the map.

  • Have just booked one near Manchester Airport for June 06 to save me driving overnight before a flight from Manchester (driving from Edinburgh) for only £10. Had a choice of 4 different ones in the same area for £10

Have just come back from Travelodge Covent Garden. For a tenner, it was an absolurte bargain. Very nice spacious and clean room - with a view of the London Eye. Very helpful and friendly staff too. People in the queue ahead of me checking in were paying £75 a night!

Oh yes, and they have car parking under the Travelodge at just £15 for 24+ hours (checkin to checkout days). Compare that with £36+ a day at NCP in central London.

I can't fault this Travelodge - some folk are never happy. If you can get a room for a tenner, book it. You can drive in and forget the tube, as the place is within easy walking distance of all central London (5 Mins to Covent Garden, 10 Mins to Leicester Square - close to almost all Theatres).

Only slight down side to Covent Garden is that they have only 7 Family Room, so almost impossible to get on any deal £26 or £10.

I can also heartily recommend the Kings Cross Travelodge too. Less than 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross Station or 10 minutes from Euston. Rarely available at £10 though, but do have Family rooms. Some noise from Thameslink trains and tube lines though - if that's a problem.
