Windows email problems

Options
Hi, hope someone can offer some advice -

I've got a laptop with windows vista, and have it set to download my yahoo emails. This has worked absolutely fine until yesterday, however every time I have opened it in the last two days, a windows security box pops up and asks me for my username and password which I duly put in...and it doesn't seem to recognise it and keeps asking me for it again and again. It's definitely the correct password so I can't work out what's going wrong! Particularly as it was all working fine and I can't see what's changed.

I'd be really grateful if anyone had any ideas!

Can you goto the yahoo website and try logging into youe email directly from their page rather than windows mail (i assume its that which you are using).
If it fails it helps point in the the right direction for fault finding by ruling out you mail client.

Try setting up your account again through mail.

There were some problems with some Yahoo pop3 mail downloads yesterday. It will most likely fix itself if you haven't changed anything.

Hi, just to say I am having the same problem.

So glad it isn't just me! Hopefully it will be working again soon!
