Any sites for 'crappy' jobs?

Are there any sites out there that just have jobs for normal people? Every site seems to list jobs which look for qualifications and experience. It is annoying me that after 5 hours of looking in a day I have not found a single job I can apply for.

Over the course of the last two years (and for most of them, weeks) I have tried almost every site and company listed and got nowhere. Most of them, as I said, expect qualifications and experience.0

Sorry to sound negative but most jobs DO require qualifications and/or experience. If you have been searching for 2 years perhaps it is time to consider some qualifications? Before you shout me down my comment is not meant as a dig at you .... I don't know your circumstances ...... just merely some friendly advice as in this economic climate it is tough enough finding a job even if you do have quals or experience!
Depending on your age/circumstances there is a range of funding avail to help.
Best of luck in your search.0 -
I already have an NC in IT Tech Support, and a Degree in Software Technology, and neither of them have done anything to help me find work. (though I am nicely £15,000 in debt)
Qualifications are a money making scam. I just want to push some boxes around a warehouse.0 -
You could try this:
https://ig11.i-grasp.com/fe/tpl_census01.asp?newms=info38
Its for the 2011 census. Its only temporary but could lead to something else or at the very least give you some experience.
All the best0 -
OK, I suspect you won't like what I'm about to say but I'm going to say it anyway. You've been unemployed for two years – what exactly have you been doing in that time?!Most of them, as I said, expect qualifications and experience.
If you don't have any qualifications, have you looked into doing any training? Lots of courses are subsidised or even free for people on benefits. Contact your local college and ask for their part-time prospectus/course guide.
With regards to lacking experience, have you considered volunteering to try and get any?!

EDIT: took me so long to type, you'd already said what qualifications you have!If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0 -

Admittedly this is before the whole economy went down the toilet, but back when I was temping Reed was always pretty good for just your basic data entry/office admin/clerical stuff. No qualifications needed, just basic knowledge of softwares like Word and Excel.0

Apart from the 16 weeks that Gordon Brown used me for money laundering, I have been applying for work constantly in that time and managed to get a whopping two interviews.0 -
You may have already done this but why don't you send your CV and a covering letter to all relevant companies in your area, asking if they have any positions available that will help you to gain experience in this field of work.
If employers can see you are proactive enough to ask they may just give you that 'foot inside the door' and if better jobs become avail you then have the experience to apply for them. If you are that good a catch they may even want to invest in you and give you the opp. to train for further qualifications.
If you are that much in debt I think you'll need a salary that will pay you more than 'pushing boxes around a warehouse' will. It sounds as though you have the quals - you just need some experience (this comment is not meant as derogatory to those who may actually do this for a living!)
Good luck0
