GRRR 5/10 people have paid for their purchases from me!!! :mad:

Is anyone else having this problem? Not all of them are newbies, in fact one person is a newbie and the rest have 40-100 feedback!!!

I have packaged the items up and addressed them so I am wasting money!!

    It seems to go in phases. Lately I have had a run of non-payers, including one today whom I had sent 3 invoices & a NPB alert who had the cheek to ask today for a "total amount payable", sometimes you feel like you just can't win!

    I have in my auctions, Please pay within 5 days of auction end! I can't get out very often (OH has my car!!) so Going to the po with just few parcels is annoying, just waiting and not knowing to relist wastes time! My items so far are going for 99p-£3.00 (Odd clothes and bits) so its not as if its a lot of money!!

    Why don't you use the "immediate payment required" option on your listings? It may limit your potential customers but at least they'll pay straightaway(hopefully!). Saves all that hassle and frustration waiting for non-payers.

    I thought that was only for Buy-It-Now listings ?

    I have the same odds here, angelcake. I've just started up again after a looong break. One of my non-payers is a 0-rated newbie. I just know she'll contact me only after I start the NPB process... with one of those 'how do I pay?' questions...
    I don't normally mind NPBs, except that one I had last year. She won some vouchers and faffed around long enough for them to expire. Grrrr. It was such good money too.

    i've barely had any non paying bidders compared to what i used to have (besides from a couple of hijacked accounts and the person who didn't bother collecting a £3 item the other day)

    it seems to be since i changed my buyer requirement preferences ages ago to:

    Block buyers who:

    Are registered in countries to which I don't post.
    Have a feedback score of -1 or lower.
    Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days.
    Are currently winning or have bought 5 of my items in the last 10 days.
    Have no credit card on file.
    - Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of 0 or lower.

    edit: oh my god i have just checked my buyer requirements activity log and i have blocked 23 attempts to bid/buy it now from 13 different buyers in the last 2 months alone!

    I don't know wether this is a good thing (blocked people who were likely to be NPB's) or a bad thing (lost out on potential sales)?

    I always have problems with non-payers and further to my post regarding a buyer who wanted me to wait until the 28th April for payment (making it almost a month overdue) I've had another message saying they can't pay because they're overdrawn at the bank.

    AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH and I'm not??????

    Why bid if you don't have the funds?

    Could be the time of the year, had a similar problem last year.

    Had a couple of buyers who bidded and won, but went on holiday and expected to find there items waiting for them, but had yet to pay for them.
