Looking at the T&C, it would seem that if you are on Pay&Go Online(300 free texts ones) then you still need to pay the 25p for the first 3 mins? Thus 75p per day, but there after the rest of the mins are free under this promotion? Hmm...anyone want to confirm that I read it right?

Free calls made as part of the customers O2 Long Weekends allowance will not count towards the first three minutes of the day rates for customers on Pay & Go Talkalot and Talkalotmore.

all i can see is this for talkalot payg. this is a different tariff to the 300 text anytime one.

I guess i will make a call for 5 minutes and see what happens. if i'm gonna get charged 75p then i wont bother again.

What it means if you make a call from your postcode out of the long weekend 500 minutes the call will be free.

But if you make a chargeable call the same day away from your post code .Free calls made as part of the customers O2 Long Weekends allowance will not count towards the first three minutes of the day rates for customers on Pay & Go Talkalot and Talkalotmore
