Ebay account compromised twice.......HOW do i get rid of this spyware?

In the last 2 weeks i've almost had my Ebay account hijacked...........twice!
It seems to be ever since i started seeing advertisements (these ads normally flash up at the top of my Ebay page) and i also started getting strange blank pop ups as well. Then all of a sudden, my account was almost hijacked. (Seems like a strange co-incidence).
I did a Malwarebytes scan, which seemed to get rid of the spyware it found and i changed my Ebay password etc. and thought everything was fine.
But earlier today, i couldn't access my Ebay account again & checked that the same thing has happened again.
How did these hijackers get my new password?
If i do another Malwarebytes scan, i feel the same thing may happen again.
Does anyone have any advice on how i can combat this?
Thanks.

are you getting asked questions about items for sale on ebay?
if so do not answer them by clicking the link on the email. always log into ebay and pick up your messages.0 -

Yes i do occasionally get these dodgy emails.......but never click in the links.
I do know what you mean though.0 -
If you are competent enough, format your hard disk and re-install Windows etc.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
Where there's a will, there's a way to get something cheaper from somewhere else!!0

Hmm, very interesting.
Thanks for the link.0 -
I got the same message today, account suspended due to someone listing items under my ID. Ebay restored the account but I had to create a new password. All genuine because it was also on My Messages.
I suspect my auction sniper tool (justsnipe.com) may have been compromised but they are saying nothing.0 -
Thanks for that it explains whats been happening to me these last couple of days on Ebay as I keep getting these warnings. I even started a thread on here this morning about it.;)0 -

Yes, i agree with you there as i use justsnipe.com too.
TBH, i think this is how they got my new Ebay password. So, i won't be using them again.0
