It is a shock from the BBC! They always normally manage to put a bullish twist on everything.I can take no responsibility for the use of any free comments given, any actions taken are the sole decision of the individual in question after consideration of my free comments.
That also means I cannot share in any profits from any decisions made!;)0 -
I would say closer to 35% overvalued0

If house prices can triple over a ten year period, then they can certainly halve over the next five years. Hopefully0

After 'Dispatches' about newbuilds (C4 tonight) I expect some developers to be doing BOGOF deals!0

Not a chance in hell of this happening ;-) Come back in 5 years and I'll put money on prices will be higher than they are now.
I'd probably have to agree with that. logically and arithmetically one would like to think they could indeed fall (given their exponential increase), but fundamentals do indeed point to increases in, say, five years. i don't necessarily mean year-on-year increases (and that's the key point) but i mean an absolute increase in five years. one reason: shortage of land in this country. second reason: shortage of safe land to even build upon (the recent flooding crises which can only get worse in years to come). this is not an argument for (or against) house price increases on my part, just what i think will happen.BLOODBATH IN THE EVENING THEN? OR PERHAPS THE AFTERNOON? OR THE MORNING? OH, FORGET THIS MALARKEY!

Yep, it's different this time. Property can only go up you know. Get on the ladder whilst you can. It's never been more affordable. :j
These posts become boring. I know through experience that house prices can go down. I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is and I have. You HPC people continually spout the same crap and it never happens. Come back when your so called crash occurs but until then lets base our calculations on facts ;-)0
