Well
We moved into our new house in December, and with the house came a huuuggggeee garden!!
The house is a semi and there wasn't a boundary fence with our neighbours except for approx 10ft at the top end near the house.
We agreed with our neighbours that we would split the cost to have a new fence erected. The quotes were in excess of £2k as the garden is over 160ft long.
So, we decided to do it ourselves!! It took 48 hours to erect and pain the new fence and we are mega pleased with the result!
We've also built a new (short) garden wall and are going to laying the steps hopefully this week. We also need to decide what we would like to finish the top layer of the wall, i.e. blue brick to match the house, coping stones, etc. We are also planning to lay decking just slightly behind the wall to use as a bbq / seating area.
I have uploaded some pics if anyone is interested and would love some comments or suggestions about what we could do with the rest of the garden. We are planning to lay decking just slightly behind the wall to use as a bbq / seating area.

It works fine, it just redirects through bbc which i thought was a little odd.
