Ok OSers, here's the skinny,
me and my big mouth have gone and got me in to a terrible pickle (must've used the wrong vinegar:D). I have gone and challenged Penelope [strike]Pitstop[/strike] Penguin to a half term head to head cleaning challenge, as we are both off work next week. What makes matters worse is that she has accepted:eek:
The rules, from what i can gather, are as follows:
1. Normal Flying to continue
2. A challenge is set each day. this challenge can be anything that is not normally accomplished in the housecleaning routine (in my case this leaves things VERY open ended)
3. Pictures will be forthcoming to prove that the tasks have been completed, subject to the usual technical provisos. 'Before' pictures have been suggested, though I fear for the youngsters viewing. I will leave this as optional
4. one challenge per 'zone' per day, to be completed by lunchtime, leaving the afternoon free to entertaining our respective little cherubs.
Challenge 1 - Monday : clear and clean kitchen cupboards and drawers - even the 'wherethefudgeisit' drawer
FIFA apopinted referees will adjudicate and this is an open challenge. Please feel free to join in (that includes you, Punky!)
Let no offence commence!

Ok, we're on! Microfibre and Stardrops at dawn!
I have 6 drawers in my kitchen that are in desperate need of tidying, and my junior Penguins have asked to assist!
I couldn't find my cake-tin liners this morning, so I need to do this! I know they're in one of those drawers, somewhere..............

woah, woah, woah, woah!!!
A bit early to bring in reinforcements
I know I have two hopes of getting DS1 and 2 to help me - Bob Hope and No Hope
Late rule change, but apparently admissable under the Geneva convention, so ok then
this time:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
I am with you for Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I am handicapped by the assistance of ds1 and 2 who have just worked out how to undo child locks and have destroyed my obsessively neat and ordered world.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

I would love to join in, but I simply cannot believe that there are any areas or zones in my home that havent been sorted already :A
I cleaned out my cosmetics about a week ago, all my kitchen cupbaords are clean, orderly & sparkling inside.
To be honest, If I joined in, there would BE no contest :A :A
:rotfl::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Had to demolish our BBQ when the extension was being built. Haven' rebuilt it yet
Bookcases could be a good un - I've got at least four that need serious attention - what say you, PenPen?
Shed could be another, though again, bordering on the scary:D:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -
