Tesco value curry sauce - 4p!

Options
Has anyone tried this? Is it at least edible? I am seriously tempted as I love curry and could use it as a base for things I'd usually use tomatoes for.

Thanks

I use it all the time, it's really nice but it is quite spicy which is fine for me but not so much for my 3 year old so i usually add some milk to cool it down a bit. For that price you can't go wrong. I'm trying to pluck up the courage to try the Sweet & Sour sauce.

Thanks hollyh, I'll get a couple of tins! Not a sweet and sour fan so will skip that one.

We love the Tesco value curry sauce. The Sainsbury's one is pretty good too.:D
  • we like the tesco 4p sauce and use it quite a lot
    onwards and upwards
  • It is really good stuff. Works well in a slow cooker too - just bung everything in when you go out, home at night - delicious curry. Tin of toms jazzes it up nicely with any veg or meat.

I have been using it for years even at a more expensive price of around 50p when it first came out and its fine tastes just like chip shop curry I had years ago

I like it with my chips and veggie burger (Tesco's own)
