Hello
I have been given nearly 3/4's of a bottle of cointreau that a family member required for a recipe and I don't know what to do with it myself!
Any cake/dessert recipes that use it? Not a fan of the stuff as a drink!
cheers

i've had a bottle in the cupboard for years - it doesn't go off!!!0 -
pour large slug into a glass
then - pour into a container (you), and continue until desired consistency
(it helps if you have already had a bit of red wine sauce to start with)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
bake a banana, until the skins are splitting open, pour cointreau into it and add a bit of cream, lovely !!!
(best on a bar b que, though, never tried it in an oven!)0 -

I'd make a trifle with some. Soak the trifle sponges in it (not too much if you're not keen), and use mandarins as your fruit.
It makes a change from sherry trifle (not that we have sherry trifle that often).0 -
I love trickling some over vanilla ice cream. If you want to expand on that, add some tinned tangerine slices and whipped cream on top....."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0
