Free Engery Saving Products Worth Approx £55

Hi just thought I would let you know that I have found that through British Gas you can get 2 energy saving products for free if you are claiming benefit. I receive Disability Living Allowance and qualified for this. The products are:

British Gas Standby Saver - Costs £19.99 to buy off the website

And

British Gas Real Time Electricity Monitor - Costs £31.49 to buy off the website.

These offers can be found buy going to britishgas.co.uk/productoffers then enter the code EF3

    Thank you for requesting your free product. Unfortunately you do not qualify for this offer, please check the terms and conditions. However, you still have an opportunity to make savings on your energy bills by purchasing these products from our energy efficiency e-shop. You can find more information on these services by browsing our e-shop. "


    Can anyone point me in the direction of the T&C 'cos I can't see them? I'm thinking I don't qualify because I'm not over 70 and I'm not on benefits :confused:

    Yes it did state somewhere that there needed to be someone in your household over the age of 70 OR who receives one of a list of benefits can't find the page at the mo.

    My son is on disability living allowance and my 82 yr old FIL lives with us so the TV stand-by socket thing is going to be particularly handy....thanks OP :beer:
