Check with CS about a refund if you paid postage. They sent me an email about refunding postage on an item that arrived a day after it should have. I hadn't even contacted them about it they just sent this email out automatically. Funnily enough it was also for an order that I didn't have to pay for as it was a replacemet item so I'm curious to see whether they actually give me any money (have to wait 3-5 days) as I didn't even pay postage on this item!!! ON something you did pay postage on though I would definitely expect this to be refunded. HTH.

Also, am I the only one excited by the prospect of getting wrapping paper 90% off? That is all my store has in and yet I'm still stupidly excited by the prospect of getting it for 30 or 50p!

And this really is my last rambling for the evening. After someone mentioning on here about wanting the Jelly Belly Bean dispenser and being given a link to the site that sells them if they couldn't get one in the sale, I also visited the site. How excited was I to see a "Samples" button!!! Turns out they give out 100 samples a day but that this starts at a random time every day and closes again for the day once the 100 mark has been reached. Well, I've got the link saved in my favourites and have been trying it every time I've been on the laptop...which is a lot as I tend to surf a lot when I'm breastfeeding during the night (and then get in trouble by buying far too much mail order stuff in my half-asleep state!) and guess what...today I won. Hi all.

Two questions to ask (sorry to be a pain!!)
Has anyone still got that there order is being processed on any orders online. Ive had a confirmation for partial of it but not the other order which is still being proccessd.

EDIT: One of my orders i saying this which i had a confirmation for.

Hi "partner in crime" from Thurs nite!

To answer your question, my only order (for non-sale items) is still showing "order being processed" with a date on it of 28th Jan 09.

Looking at an old order, once its been despatched, there is a further box of information that appears when you view the order. Mine states:

Parcel ID

8BCP20042186A002
Parcel status

Your parcel has been despatched

Carrier name

Home Delivery Network

Actual despatch date

29/12/2008 16:17

So, if yours has been despatched, it should show this on your order page, too.

Doh!! You edited it whilst I was replying!! I'd check first thing, but if its at the Depot, then as long as they load it on the van in the morning, you "should" get it tomorrow!! Fingers crossed for you!!

As for the 2nd order, sometimes it takes a while for the couriers system to catch up, so again, I'd try in the morning. They might not collect the items on a weekend, so it may show despatched on Boots computer but not have been collected by couriers! Also, an order number is different from a parcel id - its the parcel id (see post above) that you need to search on when looking at the courier website. If its still showing as "being processed" then there won't be a parcel id to search for!
