Possible £11 off Amazon shopping

What's the deal?
Amazon is giving certain lucky customers £15 off purchases, when they sign up for a month’s DVD rental at £4. So if the special offer pops up while you’re shopping on Amazon – as it has for many MoneySavers - it’s possible to instantly save £11 on your Amazon shopping – and get two DVD rentals.
How to grab the deal.
- STEP 1: Check if you’re eligible
Go to Amazon, plonk an item in your shopping basket, click proceed to checkout and sign in. Now, under “delivery options”, there should be a big sign which says “instantly save £15” (or some people have been offered £10). This should be obvious, if the sign isn’t there, sadly Amazon isn’t targeting the offer at you.
- STEP 2: Sign up for DVD rental
If you’re one of the lucky ones with the special offer, click to sign up for the cheapest DVD trial at £3.99 (2 DVDs per month). If you look at your subtotal, you should have got £15 off your order. Your total must be over £15 (or £10 for the £10 voucher) to use the voucher.
- STEP 3: Make a note in your diary
You’ll immediately be charged £3.99 for a month’s DVD rental membership, which includes 2 DVDs. By signing up to the DVD trial, you’re signing up for a direct debit, so be sure to cancel well before the end of your first month, or you’ll be charged another £3.99.
- STEP 4: How to cancel
To cancel, click "Your Account" at the top of any page. Scroll down to the Subscriptions Management section and click the "Manage DVD Rental Account Information" link. Sign in, and, on the next page click the "Cancel your membership" link. You must return any outstanding DVDs within 15 days of canceling or you’ll be charged an extra fee.

Okay, get ready for this....
Credit first of all to jay_leeds on HUKD for posting this, couldn't believe someone hadn't posted it on MSE actually...
Amazon are currently doing a deal whereby if you purchase something and just before you confirm payment, you sign up to their DVD trial you immediately get £15 off that order!
Here's how it works:
1. Don't just go to Amazon and sign up for the DVD trial, that's not how to do it!
2. Find the product you want to order
3. Add it to your basket
4. Sign in (if necessary)
5. Proceed through the checkout as normal, choosing your delivery address and payment method etc.
6. On the very last page where it asks you to "review and submit your order" there is a banner about half way down which says you can save £15 by signing up to the DVD trial.
7. Hover over the banner, choose the cheapest package (£3.99/month) and your payment type
8. Click Submit (or sign up or continue) on the pop up and once it's finished processing you'll notice £15 has been taken off your subtotal (before VAT) on the right hand side of the page!
9. Finally click "place your order" back on the main screen to order.
You can then continue with 1 month's DVD rental at £3.99, or so long as you don't add any titles to your list you can cancel the trial within 7 days. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this, at least until after your item has been dispatched!
AFAIK, this can only be used once and some ppl on HUKD have been having problems, but deffo worth a go as there doesn't appear to be a minimum order value!

Its great promotion :j if you are offered it  I wasn't but my mum was so it seems very random as to who can save the £15! If you don't see the banner on the final checkout page as shown bove then you can't take part in this promotion - I have a feeling this post could be a long one with people asking where the banner is:j :j0

Wow thanks very much for this! I was going to buy a couple of books today anyway so this is just amazing! Also noticed that you can get £15 off by applying for the credit card. Think I may do this too!
Thanks again0 -
There's no dvd banner coming up for me. It is offering me £15 off if I take up an Amazon mastercard but unfortunately I've already got one of them. Any ideas why its coming up for some and not others.0
