My mainly c/s capsule wardrobe I!!!8217;ve been downsizing to is slowly starting to wear out & need replenished.

I gave in & bought a brand new pair of jeans in the sale (1/2 price so still a bargain) simply because they were actual proper denim and apparently, for ladies!!!8217; jeans, that!!!8217;s rarer than hen!!!8217;s teeth these days!!

My comfy navy bootcut trousers I!!!8217;ve been lovingly wearing out also finally wore out yesterday so I popped into a couple of c/s in a town just north of where I live & managed to unearth some bargains in BHF, a rare thing in my experience! I got 2 Mantaray t-shirts for £2.50 each & a pair of Maine chinos for £5. Two tatty t-shirts our, two !!!8220;new!!!8221; in. I!!!8217;m determined to keep to my 1-in-1-out mantra.

Oh Gawd....I am turning into my grandmother!!!

I purchased this afty, in the DEBRA shop, a b/n pair of Damart, straight legged trousers in a dark, dusty pink shade - £2.49. Lightweight but smart and with a bit of stretch I thought they might be good for hols. They have, *gulp*, elastic in the back half of the waistband!!!

('Damart', 'pink' and 'elastic waistband' - oh the shame, kill me now, please!:()

Popped in to drop some trousers off & ended up getting a £60 pair of monsoon cords for £4.

Today's haul: a huge BN mug for 50p, a lovely Next blouse for £2 and 3 books for £1.

I thought the blouse would be ok, but when I tried it on at home it actually looked amazing. My Mum thought the same, now it's hers :D

ETA: the same style as this, except it's light grey with a white pattern, and the embellishment on the neckline and cuffs are in silver. Selling on eBay for £15!

I'd held off doing anything with my clothes whilst pregnant, not being sure how much bigger I might get after baby no.2 (In size 18s between pregnancies) but having gestational diabetes, I've been on a different diet for the last nine weeks and have lost about 10kg.

A size 14 dress I've not worn for about four years fit me last night, at 37wks pregnant no less!

Think I'll have a lot of sorting to do in a couple of months time!

Lucy - well done on sticking with the diet and the weight loss. You're really going to notice it after baby is born so the CS won't know what's hit them!
