Have already received my £150 a month after switching and the cash back element today has moved to confirmed for £52.80. Hopefully will not be long before payment.

Just got this update from TCB:

    TopCashback24 Nov 2016 Hi there,

    Thank you for your message,

We have been focusing on your Missing CashBack Claim over the last few days in expediting a resolution, and we can now confirm that a decision has been reached.

I''m afraid that the merchant has taken the decision to decline your submission on this occasion. The reason that has been supplied for this in helping to clarify states that your ''Transaction cannot be traced''.

This does suggest that the merchant has been unable to locate your queried transaction based upon the information that you have provided as your main order number for this, but more likely they have been able to locate your sale - but they cannot prove that this has been the result of a Top CashBack referral. If you can be sure that you have initially provided solid information in helping the merchant to identify the sale you are querying, then we are sorry to report that the latter is more of a possibility from these two interpretations.

We are sorry that we have not been able to recover anything for you on this occasion, however if you are able to provide any alternative order references then we would be happy to re-submit this for you.

I hope that any transactions you go on to make in the future go a lot more smoothly for you.

Similar issue; same email from TCB :(

Had your transaction originally shown as Pending and then Confirmed before changing to Declined like mine did or did it never show as Pending in the first place?

Mine was the same. Email sent to complaints@co-operativebank.co.uk as customer service have proven unCooperative so far failing to even acknowledge several emails.
  • If the merchant can't prove that the sale was a result of going through TCB even though they acknowledge that an account was opened, it would not have shown in Pending, never mind progressed to Confirmed and Declined!

The fact it shows on my/our transactions pages as Declined shows it was tracked through TCB. Then on one Sunday several maybe all Confirmed accounts became Declined for the April period when accounts were opened?

Maybe Co op or their affiliate made a mistake which they are continue ing to stick to rather than reverse their mistake?

Of course the 'reason' may not be the reason and their isn't any hard clear answer given in the TCB reply.

I haven't received an email yet. Not sure that Co op will react directly themselves as it seems they just palm off any problem to their 'affiliates' and its nothing to do with us guv.

Co-Operative Bank will know when account number is quoted was opened via TCB

Those submitting complaints direct to Co-Operative Bank might find a word or two from mine useful, i sent mine via secure messages and made it clear was a complaint not as Co-Operative Bank like to view such communications as feedback -

    Key word is "mistake(s)"

Maybe Co-Operative Bank think that in "due course" I might suffer memory loss.

My transaction went to Pending pretty much straight after account application on around 4 Jan. Then stayed there for months until it got Declined a number of weeks back (I recall on the same day others on here who did the £157.50 offer too got Confirmed status so looks like may be something specific to my case). I do remember seeing some posts here subsequent to this about people's going from Confirmed to Declined but I was never 'lucky' enough to reach Confirmed status!
  • Today my Confirmed, then Declined CB has been restored to Confirmed again after doing the missing cashback process :T

Good news for me hope it gets sorted for others affected and that it doesn't change to Declined again.

Payable 29 weeks should mean it gets paid on October 31st 2016. Oh;)

Mine too (though for the £105 offer) - shows as "confirmed" , having been confirmed and declined previously

Hopefully, everyone's will have become confirmed in a batch
