I now understand it is standard practice in A to remove the mbuy labelling from the shelves the day before an offer ends as, again, there were now no mbuys on the shelf but the products went through at the mbuy price. Obviously to discourage people from buying them on the best day:rotfl:. But, no, seriously, it just proves again that you cannot shop the way the vast majority of people in fact do, by looking at the prices you see on the shelves when in a store, as you'd have no idea of the offers that were on on the day you were shopping! Just now so expected that the way nearly everybody shops (that is excluding the small minority of the population that use this thread) turns out to be the most inefficient way of doing so and the way likely to give the most money to the stores! You just could not shop worse than the way most people do. Typical that the common denominator, as is usual albeit not always, picks the worst possible way of doing things. IMO. Anyway, Quorns work:D.
Savvy, I agree entirely. The day I got the most recent meal deal, BJ's were in the normal big freezers - yards of them - all flashed 'Offer' with no detail and priced at £4. The chips were also in the normal big freezers, with normal £1.50 sel, with no mention of offer, and the fish was entirely missing with no sel and no gap for them in the normal freezers....
But on my way out I spotted a mini freezer at an aisle end quite some distance from the freezer zone, this had the Meal Deal flashed up in red. However this only contained lots of the right fish, very few BJ flavours, and no chips whatsoever. So what chance did a normal customer have of obtaining a meal deal - when it had to be put together bit by bit over 3 locations with conflicting sels?“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Keep your eye out I had post from Waities today 3x £8 off £40 spends.
Plus another random voucher all valid until 3/4.0 -
Has anyone ever used one of these?

DD2 has got lots of printing to do for her dissertation as she is studying long distance. Not sure if it's just the way she works that she needs to print it all but anyway she started looking at something that would print faster than our current HP1050 but she found this and the ink usage is tempting her. But this is even slower.
She has 1000s of pages to print. Would appreciate any insight of other printers. TIA0 -

For that volume of printing, you would be better off looking at a cheap colour laser printer.

I am pleased to announce my first grandchild arrived last night.
A little girl weighing 8lb 6oz. Mother and baby doing well and I think my son has stopped crying now. Although she was in labour at home for 24 hours she only spent 3 hours in hospital and they are leaving to go home in a couple of hours. And she has my name as her second name!!
Wish I could afford to give up work to help and with my daughter's that is due in 16 weeks. But unfortunately I am one of the women born in 1954 who wont retire until 65.5!!
:T:T:T Congratulations is it nana or grandma ? :T0 -

Yes, lasers are much much better for the volume involved. When I did my MA, I was exceptionally lucky as an office I'd worked in was getting rid of one due to upgrading, and they let me buy it cheaply.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
