    Hi Everyone :)

Been missing all the deals thanks to BT :(

Was offered a great deal on Infinity - just £13 a month. Have really wanted it 'cos quite often when we watch catch up TV it buffers so badly we have to stop watching.

Anyway was told broadband would be down just for half an hour on Friday while it was switched over. We actually lost our broadband connection on Wednesday evening till Friday afternoon(apart from short restoration on Thursday). And at one point had no phone either.

I so hate talking to their CS abroad. Particularly the women are soooo difficult to understand.

Anyway back up and running although our phone only works in the loft at the moment which isn't very useful!!

Waiting for a call this morning to sort out some compensation.

Did manage to read about the Pop. Had no idea what I was doing but copied someone's shop and managed to get 4 bottles, so thank to OP's

Would have liked to have done an APG with Quality Street tubs but I guess its too late now?

Finally reached the terminus in candy crush. It was a long haul to catch up after a particular bad level 1180.

Never won silvercar but I keep trying.

I am on level 1202 think these latest levels are hard I keep getting stuck :(

this is a good website to bookmark to check on Mondays and Tuesdays.

    http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/united-kingdom/index.shtml

register, log in and go to the Find hotels tab.
at the bottom of this page is a promo box and in it put

    MONDAY.

you can then search for hotels for the following weekend with special rates - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Ibis £25, mercure and Novohotels £40 - a bit more expensive for London.

so the cities I always check - Saturdays are always rare and the good ones go quick

Stratford on Avon Mercure £40 Friday and Sunday

York - Friday and Sunday but not saturday
    Ibis £25 city centre
Mercure £40 - on the ring road outside next to the park and ride

Edinburgh Quay Mecure - £40 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    Edinburgh Ibis south bridge £25

Glasgow - Mercure and Nohotel for £40

Liverpool - Ibis Albert dock for Saturday night £25! Novohotel £40

Chester - both mercure for Saturday night £40

London - I try Greenwich which gives you some of the city centre ones, loads of Novohotel and Mercure for £40 -

OK, it takes a bit of organising to get child, cat, dog and house sitters so short notice but its good to be spontaneous sometimes

With the builder being here for the last 3 weekends and visitors this weekend I have extremely itchy feet - not been anywhere all month apart from one evening in Chester but hopefully someone can find a nice weekend room :)

Hey  I'll have you know that pork crackling I made yesterday will probably mean our dentist can retire early :o:o :rotfl:
Even the dog values his gnashers too much to have tried it.

    The rest was ok though.

Partial success is better than dinner in the dog and a Wetherspoons bill! I'm calling it progress :D

Well done :T:T:T And that is how pork crackling is supposed to be :D

Is your incoming point in the loft? IF this is the case then sounds like an internal cable problem. Did you have BT out to it or did they do it by remote?
