where my dd2 works a lady came in and set it of all the time she said it happened every where they could not find anything put her bags through it did not beep, and her coat found out it was her shoes , she had some sort of security sticker stuck to the under neath,:D
My nan has this handbag that always sets the alarms off..the problem is she always makes a joke of it when it goes off as we walk away she will say ..well that worked..they didn't see the stuff I have under my coat ..I usually have to turn round and say she is joking..she has just turned 93 and has a great sense of humour :)

ah, i love that. she sounds great fun :T

Back from a successful trip to a different Ts (for the locals Bourn3)

    Lots of party items RTC (SEL not obvious though - white label with v small discontinued sign in top right corner and no original price ;)) I got;
    party banners 25p
    birthday banners 25p
personalisable (am I making words up :p) bunting 56p
    party bags 25p
    orange gift bags 20p
    orange bottle bags 20p

Also reductions in homewares - I got shower head for £2 but they also had mugs and glasses

Finally found the Chicago Town Take away Cheese and Bacon Pizza £2 used £2 MOC :)

This prob store specific but they had a stand near the entrance with Hallowe'en oranges in boxes. They were selling them off cheap at £1 BOGOF instead of the £2 each they were stickered at. They each had Moshi Monsters stickers included in the pack

My top bargain though were packs of 12 Sharpie markers RTC from £14 to £2 :D Several left...

Amazing how a good shop can cheer you up :D
You are correct :) I didn't realise you are close by :)

Yeah, Dad from Exton originally. I grew up in Stam now few miles away as house prices way too high for us there. Mum still there though so often visit. I enjoy a trip to Gates' at Xmas and sometimes take LOs to Mini Monsters too in Oakh.

  • Morning everyone. Another day off work whilst my eye heals. Slowly getting better not an angry red now more a dark pink :o
Hospital haven't injected it yet, just gave me more cream ointment to out in it and told me to rest  (easy for them to say I've still got bills to pay). Also hate this ointment as it never goes where I want it to in the eye,

Rant over :D. Hopefully might be able to pop to local tesco later. Have a high coupon to use by end of month from Ariel, like I need any more washing detergent :o, still got loads from asda reductions. :rotfl:

No snakes for me either, local store was out when I went last week :(.

wowser. But you need to tidy up them shoes and is that sparking water or tonic next to it?? ;)

The garage is Stanley's domain, hence the mess. Its tonic water next to the beers. I tend to get four for 1.50 whenever I visit. (but don't get against Waity's as you lose out).
