Re the scanners
OH had a phone that set off the scanners in many stores, it was a really old one, flat silver with a thin metal case, can't remember the make but something to do with the frequency......seems weird but it always did it.0 -

So embarrassing - just recently I've noticed that the security scanners beep everytime I walk in or out of a shop
I can't work out what is the problem. Yesterday the security guard in Lidl made me empty my handbag!! Someone said it could be a phone but mine is an ancient Nokia non-smartphone. Anyone any ideas before I get arrested?:rotfl:
Lovely meal last night. Had picked up 2 lamb shanks at whoopsie time in Sainsbobs for 30p. Never bought them before but was surprised at how much meat they had on them and so tender after slow cooking. Made a casserole with filler carrots and onions, whoopsied swede, free toms from neighbour and served with whoopsied sprouts and, the most expensive item in the meal, full price potatoes. Does anyone else make mental lists of where everything came from and at what price while preparing dinner? :rotfl:
where my dd2 works a lady came in and set it of all the time she said it happened every where they could not find anything put her bags through it did not beep, and her coat found out it was her shoes , she had some sort of security sticker stuck to the under neath,:D0 -
