I claimed an award on Thursday 17th and they have used up to date points and left some that expire 26 Oct!

That is not on hope you get it sorted

How can you tell? When I look at my statement I couldn't see what had or hadn't been used just the expiry dates. I even emailed DM and they said they couldn't tell either but that points were used in order of expiry rather than accrual. Maybe they've changed it now, this was a few mths ago.

    thanks = grateful :)

I don't have a spare code as ianforcer didn't send me a code only that he had one available if needed but my neighbour passed one into me that she had spare which I used for my account.

    Thankyou

Please ignore pm's from igloo123 and do not supply them with codes as reported for rejoining under a new user ID

  • Hi, Does anyone know how you are supposed to enter the £8 mailshop e vouchers? I have three from redeemed points and have numerous times tried to enter them into the box asking for voucher codes to get the discount but am told every time the number is invalid. They are complicated long combinations of letters, numbers and dashes. But whatever combination I have tried they get rejected and I simply give up. Has anyone successfully entered these codes?

I also contacted them today and although they use them according to their expiry date they have no system in place to delete them when used or identify which have been used. Crazy system.
Guess you could print off the statement and cross them off as you use them but would be far better if their system just had a column to say when used.

    Hi soco1

This does not appear to be the case - Oct 5th points have gone missing

How did you contact them ?
    Using their message system?

I've just phoned them and spoke to someone who now says they GET USED IN THE ORDER THAT THEY GET ENTERED INTO THE BANK ACCOUNT.

Fortunately I did use the message system and the CS girl looked at the actual message that says other wise - from a guy called RYAN

Dear Q Thank you for your message. I can confirm that if you claim a reward, the points that are closest to expiring will be taken from your account. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions you can contact us and we will be more than happy to help. Best regards, Ryan The Mail Rewards Club

I awaiting a call back but she's advised me that I (and other family members) need to redeem 1000's of points TODAY to use up all the ones that need to be redeemed before those that will expire tomorrow if I fail to use them before midnight - in my case 270 points.

    WHAT A SHAMBLES !!!!

I'm hoping that you used the message system because the CS girl was "interested" in seeing other people that had been told the same as myself. If you have it "in print" perhaps you could contact them - I used 0800 7839331 - It is the DM of sorts but not CS and IT'S NOT A REWARD CLUB number but I did get transferred to the right place.

    Cheers

I did leave the post above for you a while ago asking how you got the information regards the order in which points are redeemed since I got the same answer which then turned out to be TOTALLY WRONG

    As per this post
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=63479840&postcount=7124

Regards knowing whether you have points that are about to expire?

All I can say is work on the calculation of how many (on average) you collect on a weekly basis .... multiplied by 52

IF (excluding promotion/bonus codes etc.) you collect "the maximum" of 300 points then over a year (52 weeks) you can accrue 15600 points BEFORE ANY start to expire.

IF you ONLY buy SATURDAY'S DM and add ONLY 100 points a week then points will begin to expire as soon as your total hits 5200.

    Hope this helps :)

    Standard weekend warning

Do NOT swap codes with new members until they have proved their worth in the thread or elsewhere AND ignore PMs from new users begging for codes

Apologies to new users but it has spoilt for you by someone else who offers code swaps but makes up the codes
