And me! Happy travels - look forward to hearing about it."Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0 -
I know that the America the Beautiful passes don't come up for sale very often on Ebay, but just a quick heads up. You have to sign them, when buying and show I.D when entering the parks.
Update review for Kayenta Monument Valley Inn. It must have been refubished. Really clean & nice.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

You always did have to sign them BUT there are two signature fields so if you leave the second one blank then you can sell the pass on ands the new buyer can sign in the second field.
BTW more passes com up on ebay.de
Kayenta
Was this in the hotel itself? we stayed a few years back and they had Motel type extensions out the back which weren't exactly great.0 -

Ah, didn't realise that about signatures!
This was motel at the back. Food was awful in restaurant though.
Did Horseshoe Bend today, I don't know if it is because of all the rain, that they have had, but it looked gorgeous.Loved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -

I agree very few America Parks Pass appear on the UK Ebay site, but you need to check the German EBay site, just add (.de), there are always many for sale.0 -
Having done west coast America this year and had great fun planning it all, we are thinking about doing the east coast. Does anyone know if there is a similar thread to this for the east coast?0

Just booked a nice little trip for next march, Four nights in Las Vegas to meet up with friends staying there, drive to the Grand canyon for a couple of nights, drive through the dessert to Barstow to visit an old Ghost town, Fontana to visit some skateparks in the region, then a week in Los Angeles area :-)0

From my experience of the east coast (NJ, PA,VA, NC, SC, GA & FL) the roads are much busier, traffic-wise, and more 'built up'. Not the wide open spaces of the west and definitely not such a pleasant driving experience. NJ in particular in one state I'd prefer never to have to drive in again!
Possibly the New England part might be more pleasant?2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Thanks jackieblack that's what we thought! I think we are edging back towards west coast and taking in San Diego which we didn't do this time and possibly Palm Springs. It's hard deciding on a different route to take.0

We loved San Diego.
