Your poor mum, it must be awful for her watching the garden go down when your dad looked after it so well :( Really sorry for all you are going through. If I thought it would work I would suggest you turning round to your kin and saying you were not going to do anything for a month and it is all down to them, problem is I suspect your mum would suffer for this. :(

You do have one advantage over them though. You are the one spending time with your mum, you are the one that has her company. It may sound strange but I would give anything to be in your position, I lost my mum when I was 20, she never met my kids or my grandson, I miss her and strange things still catch me out, accidentally picked up her engagement ring the other day, my step-mother told my father off for giving me her jewellery (she thought she should be able to give it to her daughter but that is another story :() but I am glad he did, but for some reason this time I just wanted to blub.

All I can say is enjoy your mum while you can, and forget about everything going on around you when you are with her if you can. :)

Funnily enough when I am with my Mum I just look after her and sit and chat. I am the closest ot her and will miss her when she goes. I also know I have done my best for her. Nice omelette for t in a mo. Also have a nice pressie for me on the way. One of those Wool duvet's mentioned on Grabbit last night.

That is good, makes it all worthwhile :D

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how many coupons at asda set off the supervisor override? X
I believe that it is the seventh which triggers ''authorisation needed''. This INCLUDES any APG amongst the coupons - so I keep to 6!!!

HI Chandlerscroft I find shopping at Mr W a pleasure as well. They always explain when things are reduced and on offer why more money comes off. They always seem happy you have got a bargain.

I too love Waitrose, the staff are well trained, polite and often call me 'madam' (without being a proper little one). Have to say the customer service in Waitrose is as it should be. Must admit though can only afford to go in for bargains.

I was buying 6 when they where priced at £6 in asda they are now £11.28 and showing as £4 in tesco.
Dont think they are still comparing though are they or did I read it wrong when skimming.
If they are comparing still, 2 will give you a max apg along with fillers.
But check back thought someone said they had stopped comparing

    Hi David,

They didnt compare for me on a shop I did last night. Only bought 2 bottles but so annoyed that I contacted asda to complain. They are putting a £4 gift card in the post. And yes they are now priced at £11.28. Is your wine rack full yet JJJ?:)

I thought I was being sensible also by stocking up, not for the next ten years but a good few bottles to last DW whenever she feels like a bottle of fizzy stuff .
TrulyMadly posted here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=56784201&postcount=302 about it and its not comparing now :(

Is anyone else really fed up - in the space of a week we have lost from the Sada v t list
    Cheese
    S and g
    Potatoes
    Parsnips
    Fizzy wine
    Maltesers big box

And from the t v Sada list we have lost reloaded and beans

If it wasn't for free ww meals and free cereals there would be very little left to make the effort of going shopping -even more difficult to make up a £40 shop

We are having a new Morrisons and Waitrose in our town before Xmas. Can't wait our Tesco has some really miserable trouts and lots of people I know refuse to shop there. Time they had a bit of competition and as I have just started woopsying again I shall have 3 shops to do every day now. Must eat out of freezer for the next month to make room.

No it actually was £3.60 (2x £1.80). They were one of the few that weren't on 2 for £2 (as shown on MSM). In store I didn't see any signs for 2 for £2. Perhaps I should have tried a couple of the others to see if it was only showing at the till and not on the shelves or APG:o

Further to the above I just double checked on MSM and the one I bought (checked on MSM late last night/early this morning as being £1.80 asda v £1 Tesco) is now showing as £1 on msm. :(???
    Awaiting a new sig
