    cant get it

selects UK ok but wont take post code.

is that in the subscription process? just put in a US address or Nevada zipcode... it's only for information as far as I can tell, they email all the Groupons to you anyway :)

i don't have a CC registered on my profile and bought the Scoot trip before no problem :)

maybe try again, i didn't have a problem at all

you can be sitting at a table in Cosmo, Aria and Bellagio in 5mins from Vdara lobby - not sure about their limits/tables but would think one would have what you're after :)

As far as I'm aware Cosmo doesn't have a poker room, asked last year and there wasn't one but didn't check this year so maybe its changed but doesn't mention poker on their website.

Put in all your details, then pick Nevada as your state, don't select UK, and then any of the Las Vegas postcodes, works a treat.:D

  • After breakfast at the wicked spoon (again very busy and skipping the line was great) we walked up to the Venetian to explore. Oh wow - this my favourite hotel so far in term of how it looks. Loved the shops too and bought the blingiest pair of jeans I've ever see which fit me like they were made for me. Had a good look round Sugar which was a brilliant, bright sweet shop with everything from Bertie bots all flavour beans to willy wonkas laffy taffy. Decided to go back here later to stock up on goodies for the kids. Spent a good 2hrs in the Venetian and put $10 in the wizard of oz slot machine on the way out - we had no idea what we were doing but it was fun anyway!

Got a taxi up to the stratosphere where hubby did all the rides while I took some great photos. It's really good that you can get close up photos of all 3 rides from the observation decks. Rides aren't my thing but hubby loved them and felt insanity was the best one. Walked back to circus circus and had a look in there. It looks so tired and dated compared to most others and the adventure dome with the fairground rides for kids was a real mess. I don't know if it's always like that or if they are just switching stuff around but there were bits covered up and cordoned off everywhere. Walked back further and stopped at Ross just because we passed it. Had no idea what this shop was but it's basically just like our tkmaxx? I got my son a couple of pairs of osh kosh b gosh jeans at half what they were in the outlet shop so happy we stopped. Walk down to the encore and had a look around there. Beach party was in full swing and we could see in as we passed. Looked exactly like an MTV video and the kids waiting in line to get in were already falling about drunk. All bikinis and high heels - quality people watching I must admit. After encore we had decided we wanted to go back out to town square as we had missed that yesterday. So a $20 taxi later there we were.

Now town square is a lovely shopping centre. I really liked this one and they had some great sales on. Both Abercrombie & Fitch and Holister had half price sales on but then had a further 50% off that price so basically getting things for a quarter of the price. I got quite a few t-shirts, hubby got a really nice Holister shirt for $14 and some t-shirts and we bought LOADS of stuff for the kids. By this time our feet were killing us, it was 5:30pm and baking hot. Would have spent more time here (and may even go back if we have time) but needed to get off our feet. Taxi back to the hotel, japanese soaking tub filled and we sat in there - hubby with his beer and me with my pina colada (courtesy of Walgreens!).

Went out for dinner after 8pm to First food and Bar In the Palazzo. Hubby had skirt steak with chorizo potatoes, hot sauce cheese and 2 eggs on top. I had the scallops (not enough pea pur!e, too much succotash) then the banana creme brûl!e. I had 2 cotton candy kiss cocktails (I have a very sweet tooth!) which were amazing. He brings the glass full of cotton candy then pours the cocktails from the shaker all over it and it all dissolves - yum! I had a restaurant.com $25 off voucher so the bill for 2 entrees, 1 desert, 2 beers and 2 cocktails was $123 including tip. This wasn't my favourite meal so far. The server was a bit surly, the restaurant seemed very dark and the food was just ok.

Walked back through the Venetian to the sweet shop and spent $80 on treats for the kids. Walked back to the cosmo, seeing the volcano go off at Mirage on the way. Navigated our way past the last (hopefully) of the Cosmo party crowd who were thankfully slightly more subdued now. Still loud and partying but not fighting and throwing up everywhere which we did see on the Saturday night. On to the balcony for a while before bed to watch the world (well -the strip) go by before bed.

    Groupon postcodes.......

I think you have to put a uk address in that matches your credit card, you don't with rest.com as you can pay with Paypal which is not possible with Groupon.

My advice, which worked for me is to first register, sign in, go to my account, go to credit cards and add your card. At this point you will need to put in you uk address and post code, which it should now accept.

Now go to the item you want to purchase and there will be no need to put your address in again.

    Good luck!
  • Gillyboss.... try Trikers tip by using Las Vegas (not your own town), Nevada as the state and a US postcode. I had been trying all day to get Groupon to work. I tried this tip about 10 mins ago and it worked! Good Luck!!!
  • Also meant to say thank you for your tip Triker :)

Anyone looking for the scoot city voucher - feel like doing me a favour and buying mine off me? We have it left from our last trip when the weather meant we couldn't use it. Jonny (the owner of Scoot City) said we can transfer it and use it whenever we like. £80 for two. PM me if interested.

    Thanks
