    Morning All :D

Was quite impressed with the ceremony last night considering everything. Great to see Bradley getting some recognition at the beginning. Loved Queenie and 007 as well as Rowan..:rotfl: Thought the chimneys etc was great along with the forging of the Olympic rings.. For those that didnt know what was going on, get yourself a history book !! Be proud of the fact that we have the Olympics and are the only nation to have held it Three times.. :T

Great twist on lighting cauldron, thought that was a great idea..

Welcome back locarr, pleased you have had a good holiday :j
did you manage to get to sainsbobs or MrTs or Mr A even on your holiday. Don't reckon you would have much room in your car to bring back the glitches though :rotfl:

Thanks,:D just popped in to the Local T's for a few essentials, no beers stocked in the small local S unfortunately!

I'm at mums and I've had enough and I want to go home.

And the new shoes I spent £45 on at Clarks just over a month ago are :eek::eek::eek:ed and I'm peed off about it. I don't have any luck with shoes and I really can't be :eek::eek::eek:d anymore to take them back and argue with them. The last 3 or 4 pairs of shoes I've bought have been wrecked in less than two months and I'm getting sick of taking them back and even sicker of having to look for further new ones.:( I'm going about barefoot from now on!

    Rant over.:rotfl::rotfl:

Happy have you had a pair of doc martins? My DH has had them and they have lasted ages and ages I see I was beaten to it but it just goes to prove how good they are

Not good when the likes of Clarkes let you down though
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

    I presume that wasn't a wombled APG? :D

There is in theory a limit of 10.

I wish it was, nope a targetted shop using coupons;) I have a lot of virtual relatives that I do shopping for:D:D:D But I also vary the shops I go to. I never visit the same shop more than once a week especially if I am buying loadsa something. Not that there has ever been a problem, I just don't want to stand out too much.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I haven't had DM's since I was a kid and even then they were boots. But aren't DM's shiny? I don't like shiny shoes.:(

Choir chick you are wonderful...thank-you ever so much..:T:T:T:T

Catching up after staying at a friend's house last night and not sure if it has been mentioned but at T's they have started a new promotion.

Collect and Save.. Spend £30 each week and collect a stamp in the weeks commencing 23rd July, 30th July, 6th August, 13th August, 20th August and 27th August and then you are given a £20 giftcard to spend in store.

You get the card stamped at Customer Services so maybe good for those who like to 'womble'....:):):)

Any info on this?? I haven't caught up since midday... :(

and was well and truly trouted today! Wombled a 150 point receipt and was asked to prove it was my shopping by producing the payment card!!?!?!:eek::eek: Looks like I need to go further afield. :( Anyone else have this happen?? I don't even put many points on :(:(

Great whoopsie meal though! ;) Hope all are well! Catch you in the morning when I have caught up! :)

What do you mean by cancelled? Asda do not have a system like the new Tesco system that recognises if an APG has been used so the till cannot tell you if it has. There is no way as far as I know that an APG can be cancelled.
