Hi and thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome last week. Nothing of any real importance to report...but I may have left a young Asda employee scarred for life....went to do a small to up shop and noticed an abandoned trolley with a loooong receipt in it as I got out of my car. Young trolly collector had just got his hand on it when I almost rugby tackled him from behind.."there's loaded of trollys over there" he said....no I want this one thanks I squeeled..."OK" he said with a worried look on his face. Input receipt next morning £1.90 price match and £5 off £40. Spend..result!If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!0

Evening all
Hope everyone is enjoying the jubilee weekend.
Big congrats to Danielle. The weather has just about managed to stay dry here....a few spits and spots, but not enough to use a brolly.....so really hope it was the same a few miles down the coast in Cornwall.
Have had all the family round for our Jubilee celebrations....have been up since the crack of Dawn preparing a buffet for lunch and have had a Devonshire cream tea (jam on top!!)
Thought the Thames Flotilla was fantastic.....did feel so sorry for those poor singers on the London Philharmonic boat. They looked like drowned rats yet were still singing their hearts out!
We might not be able to control the weather, and others might knock us.....but us Brits know how to put on a party!!
Well said :T
 I know the poor loves I felt terrible for them but they were in such high spirits regardless!
I thought it was a fantastic show of Patriotism and must have taken an incredible amount of organising. I hope they were extremely proud of their efforts. With so many variables and the weather that London experienced today, I think they did superbly, timekeeping and all! And I thought it was a great show of appreciation how the Queen remained standing and waved an awful lot too!
Hope you had a fab party Purdy, devon cream tea yummy yum yum! :TWoopsiequeen wrote: »Hi and thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome last week. Before I went I scribbled down the ones that compare in the £5 deal
Frozen Chicago Takeaway Chicken or Football Feast or Four Cheeses or Pepperoni
Ben & Jerrys Core Berry White or Karamel Sutra or Dough Ble Whammy
Frozen 2 White Baguettes Garlic Bread 338gs (I almost bought fresh :eek:)
Fingers crossed for JTD :TOur Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

I meant to use on the skin, like baby wipes! I think Lidl surface wipes might not be too good for our bums LOL!!
Thank you though, I didn't make it clear0 -

All I can say is it has been simply fantastic!:TWe are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

Naebbirac - just love the pics. Half Moon Bay looks fabulous - and just the right number of sunbathers on there for me. The garden picture of the airport is lovely, bit more welcoming than our UK airports.0

OK this might be a bit of a TMI question, but ........
You know Andrex Washlets (the wet toilet paper ones) ...can you get anything like that individually wrapped, or even individually wrapped baby wipes?
We are off to Italy on holiday, and thought they might be handy for the yucky public loos!
I'm jealous of the lovely whoopsies you all got :-)
debsjc, haven't you got any of the Andrex handbag rolls left?0
