Evening all
Hope everyone is enjoying the jubilee weekend.
Big congrats to Danielle. The weather has just about managed to stay dry here....a few spits and spots, but not enough to use a brolly.....so really hope it was the same a few miles down the coast in Cornwall.
Have had all the family round for our Jubilee celebrations....have been up since the crack of Dawn preparing a buffet for lunch and have had a Devonshire cream tea (jam on top!!)
Thought the Thames Flotilla was fantastic.....did feel so sorry for those poor singers on the London Philharmonic boat. They looked like drowned rats yet were still singing their hearts out!
We might not be able to control the weather, and others might knock us.....but us Brits know how to put on a party!!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

just a quick reminder for you folks who participated in the removal sorry winning of chocolat products at easter. The voucher runs out at the end of this month. Ive only just checked mine as were going on a jolly near one tomorrow. i believe because the easter things are finished they substitute them for something of equivalent value. I unfortunately only got 2 small bits but they will be getting donated to the beavers(young scouts) jubilee party for the old peoples home so at least there going to get used for something good. well done on the whoopsies peeps.0

Hiay mags, I was playing around with this earlier but ended up leaving it as I'd made my shop up to £40 without it. I was playing around with adding something from Birds eye to take it over the £5 threshold for the price flop coupon and trying to generate a JTD.
The more expensive fish fingers aren't available in A's (temporarily or not, I'm not sure) so what I got was;
8 battered fish fingers £1.45/£1
Potato waffles £1.50/£1
Peas £1.25/£1
Vienetta £1/£1
Add in 900g birds eye peas £1.50/£1.50
= £5.50 - £1 birds eye price flop = £4.50
then £1.20 JTD generated
= £3.30
As far as it being available in store, there were no signs in my local today but that isn't always telling!

ETA x 2:
I've just realised if you got the £2.48 12 pack of fish fingers, the meal deal would include over £5 (before offers) of Birds Eye products so;
12 breaded fish fingers £2.48/N/A
Potato waffles £1.50/£1
Peas £1.25/£1
Vienetta £1/£1
= £4 - £1 Birds Eye price flop
= £3 and a generation of 75p JTD
= £2.25'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
