    Summary of February 2012

Baby spend: £30 (BRILLIANT!!) - Keep thinking I must have lost a receipt or 2. If I can hit this every month I'll be more then happy.

Food spend: £139. Overall not bad. Again will be more then happy if this is the same every month. And that's WITH hubby 'helping'

Other: £212. Very Very BAD!! I Knew we'd overspent as we were struggling in the last week but didn't think it was This bad. This also does not include our new £150 buggy which used the last of our savings. (in my defence the old one was on it's last legs, I obtained it from Freegle and I still managed to get a tenner for it).

    Total spend: £381.

    Money in

    Sale of baby stuff: £55
    refund of faulty boots: £17
Capital Bonds from survey sites: £20.

Total money made: £92 (this is not included in total spent above - e.g. in one place I spent £42 - £40 of this was vouchers £2 was counted above).

ohhhh DEAR!!!! I don't even want to look at this months expenditure.

Lets just say the credit card is on £400.:eek:

    Food - £124.09/ £150 :D
    Baby (nappies, wipes, baby food) - £21.52/ £50 :D
    Household (laundry/ cleaning) - £9.63/ £30 :D

So yayayyayay I did completly stick to budget on the things I can control.

Unfortunatly hubby had a few days off work with me...... and decided DIY was in order (the stuff is still sitting unmade)..... All in all £64.32 on miscallanious stuff this month. :o

Tinywiggle's birthday is in April so managed to get his main pressies half price in ELC (£22.50 instead of £45) so got a few bits to go with it. :j ..... £65.50 :D

We had a meal out for my birthday - £16.53.

Then on holiday we managed to spend £200ish.:eek::eek::eek: I know a lot of this money was food which I am cross about but can't be helped. We were really good tho it could have been a lot more. I made sure brekkie was in the caravan then either dinner or tea had to be in the caravan so only 1 pub/ restaurant meal a day.

The zoo cost us about £28 which was a small saving on the gate price. + the holiday camp said DS1 didn't look 3 yet so didn't charge us for him (another £10 saving) :money:

April .............. must try harder.......... in order to pay off the cc. lol.

must update my toiletries stash as my mum/ sister got me some more for my birthday.

Question: I got about £100 in birthday money. Is it really wrong of me to actually save it and spend it on treats for myself that i wouldn't normally get (i'm not saying boring things like toiletries/ makeup that i don't need but in a few cross stitch bits as and when i need them?) instead of on paying the credit card bill from family days/ food???
