Morning all.....beautiful sunny day down here so I'm changing all the beds and leaving the windows open for a good air through!
Decided I'm not going to keep trailing to T's and wasting my petrol unless there is a really good glitch......so holler really loud so I'll hear you when one comes along!!
Am going to stick to whoopseying at Sainsburys and Morrisons for the time being as they are much closer.

Fab news on the payout Sharon.....Especially so as it's come out of the blue and as a lump sum you can clear your debts. What a good start to 2012 :T
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Sorry if you've had that name stuck in your head since I posted about it the other night:D. Have you been on holding onto that one (oo err misus) since then or did you just think of it?:rotfl:

I have to admit I stole your joke and posted it on my FB page, then someone posted a reply last night about Mr Litoris, had to put it up on here :rotfl:

:T:T:T:TBrill!! :D Oh wouldn't I just LOVE to be able to make them. I don't know how the science works behind it! How the cookie can be soft enough for you to get the choc chips to stick but cool enough for them not to melt!!

I seem to remember the choc chips falling off without too much encouragement, I reckon they baked the cookies as usual and pressed the choc chips in by hand as soon as they came out of the oven......you'd have to bake them so they were soft on top not crunchy though.....

    Hi All,

got some lamb's hearts whoopsied last night, can any of you 11 plus chefs give me some ideas as to how to cook them? I seem to remember jumblejack posting something about them awhile ago, any recipes gratefully received!:D

Thanks, I washed and dried them, then rolled them in flour, sea salt and pepper and then baked them in the oven, very nice, thanks for the tips!!:)

    1st time I've tried them!
  • Thanks everyone for your good wishes....well its official, cheques posted and phone calls all made, Im officially debt free:T. It felt soooo good to phone my credit card and say "I'd like to clear my balance and close my account please" NEVER thought that was going to happen!! I've set a little aside to spend on myself (no idea what Im gonna do with it as I never buy myself anything) so checking out the sales this weekend seems in order:D. DH still has a few bills to pay but we've figured out we should be completely debt free in 9 months. Still shocked and stunned, but with a stupid big grin on my face:D
Sending good luck out there to everyone, a massive group hug to you all

    Morning all :)

What does everybody think of this?

Tailor-made Tescos! Stores will adapt product range and deals to suit affluence of the area

"Move comes after nosedive in sales over Christmas.
Will promote value lines in poorer areas...... and top-of-the-range items in rich ones"

I think it's a another poor idea tbh. There are poor people in rich areas too vice versa.
  • again fantastic sharon, and im pleased youve not only cleared your debts (what a fantastic feeling that must be for you) youve also got some to treat yourself with. you just need a nice tesco glitch now to really celebrate

  • Is the £5 voucher with a £40 spend still on today or did it finish yesterday?

Edit: Sorry - just saw on their website:

Spend £40 or more in store this Wednesday 18th January - Sunday 22nd January.

    Looks like it's been extended!
    "Monday 23rd January - Sunday 29th January"
