    Morning all :)

What does everybody think of this?
Tailor-made Tescos! Stores will adapt product range and deals to suit affluence of the area
Move comes after nosedive in sales over Christmas.
Will promote value lines in poorer areas...... and top-of-the-range items in rich ones

I think it's a another poor idea tbh. There are poor people in rich areas too vice versa.

Bit of a rubbish idea on so many counts from a marketing point of view, but just think of the potential for T to muck up if they are trying to put together deals to suit specific areas in the country.

Back to how it used to be then? I recall when they first started online grocery orders you weren't allowed to see the prices until you registered, because they differed wildly from store to store.

Morning all - hope you are all ok.

Sharon what brilliant news - just so good to hear that someone is receiving some great news, it will make such a difference being debt free - i didn't realise how it drags you down having debts around your neck, its great to be able to breathe easily xx

Its my FIL's birthday today he's 68 so am in the middle of making him a birthday cake - Carrot Cake - his favourite, will post pictures when its finished. Had a really good weekend, we went and picked my OH's son up and also his uncle (FIL's brother) and they have been with us all weekend - spending a lot of time in the hospital with FIL, would never know he is ill to look at him, he looks so well, in fact better than he has done for years. He has been cigarette free now for over a week and he says to be honest he doesn't really miss it, just occasionally after he has eaten he says he could do with one, but two minutes later its all forgotten about.

I am so proud of him, to be honest he has been living with us as long as we have been together - even before we got married, and i really use to be horrible to him at times - telling him to shut-up, and to go upstairs out of my way, yet he has always been as nice as pie to me - never a nasty word from him about me or anyone else, i supose looking back i was just jealous as i wanted my OH to myself i didn't think that when we got together it would be love me love my dad, but when we got together we moved to a new town approx 50 miles away and his dad came to visit a couple of times, during one of these visits he had been with us for over 10 days, and i said shouldn't you be getting back home and make sure your home etc is all ok - his reply was i haven't got it any more i gave the keys back to the council, as i missed Andy (my OH) and have told everyone im now living with you !! as you can imagine i was gobsmacked, but couldn't see him out on the street especially as we had two spare bedrooms; so he has been with us ever since - 12 years.

I have an appointment (you have to make these now to speak to them) with his specialist this afternoon, but not too hopeful as they have already told us his brain tumour is not operable, just need to find out about everything else that is going on, so far we know that the brain tumour is a secondary cancer which has come from a type of lung cancer which is showing as being caused by asbestos.

Determined we are going to give him a great birthday - we have been told to bring him in a beer - so that should bring a smile to his face.
Hope you all have a brilliant day as i know we will - love to all xxx

Morning HC, how are you this morning :wave:I wonder if you are going on the bus to look for glitches? I'll be in the bar tonight and I'll leave a drinkfor you.

I just see that you are on the way back on the bus, oops

Morning all, just had a catch up but missed loads of pages as I'm off out today to see my grandaughters. After not seeing them for about 18 months, seeing them twice in a month is great. I'm on cloud 9 :j

Hugs to all those who need them. It's been a sad week last week I see.

I've cut out all the tokens from Andrex on the go rolls but can't find an address to send them to for the points, anyone here got the addie please :o

No glitches to report from my neck of the woods, whoopsies yesterday not brilliant either but made a saving so better than nothing.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
