I wonder if the fellow peeps may be able to help me with a question - I got a winning email last Wednesday telling me that I had won a laptop and I was asked to confirm my details so I could get a phone call back, which I did promptly. I got a confirmation email back telling me that the recipient had got the email successfully.

I haven't had a call back, and I checked the saved copy of the email in my sent email folder and the phone number I gave is correct.

How long (accounting for potential sickness/workload) should I give it before sending a follow up polite reminder email or phone call?

    Thanks in advance.

Do I have to pay to use it? I got the impression that other people use it for free? I tried deleting loads of my logins - which I had only set up cos I didnt really understand the system - I use the same password for all comps so dont need a record on Roboform of all the logins! - then I tried downloading roboform again, but every time I try to use it it tells me my trial period has run out!
    Any advice??
    Thanks!

I don't know whether others use it for free but I paid $9.99 for the year, which was £6 something.

It's money well spent as far as I'm concerned, as I sit here for a couple of hours or more every evening on my laptop entering competitions. All I have to do is enter my password when I first log in.

I have identities set up for me, my boyfriend and my son for the kids comps. I click whichever name I'm using to enter the competition on the toolbar at the top, check and enter, and for sites I have logged into before it recognises me as a someone returning.

    sorry everyone :o
I only seem to post to moan or ask for help! but all todays comps are in game over already and i'm sure I read here that this shouldn't happen

while i'm pointing that out has anyone got a system for keeping a few days ahead especially as I can't get online everyday :)
and to show I do appreciate the people who post comps and advice :T:T:T thanks to all of you

Quick question for all you compers. Does anyone have trouble with sites recognising gmail accounts as valid email addresses? I've had a few reject my gmail account(s) much to my chagrin and I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same experience? I've had to resort to using my yahoo account which I was trying to keep spam free.

Cheers and thanks for all those who take the time to share the competition links.

carolinejane I think the only system is time.....and lots of it.....I always try to get a few days (or more) ahead on the days I can comp so worst case I have to do the same again in a few days and best case the next day I can get even further ahead. Just keep an eye on newly posted for any with short end dates ;)

If you've not got Roboform that helps - I touch type but still get through loads more comps now I've got it.

And lilgreenmomo I can't help I'm afraid, I use a Sky address and don't have any problems with that....

i always just work through the comps by "new topic", bookmark all the ones i want to enter into months by closing date which then puts them all into date order, then actually enter them when i get a chance. in theory this tends to keep me up to date and on top of any with short closing date. hope this helps.
