Jesus christ the OP was asking about what to do re a workman damaging something. The on comes the High and mighty brigade.. I live in a council house..does that make me benefit scum? NO... lets hope the ones who think they are sitting comfortably dont need any help

C'mon you guys...at the end of the day yeah its a bloomin nightmare havin these works done n it disrupts your life for weeks till its sorted....but whenits all done you'll be glad u did and it'll look great.Just be glad of all those days u can get away with havin a takeaway cos the kitchens out of action!0

I definately did not report your post, definately not. The reported post was totally out of order and regarding "how" council tenants should go about not having more children etc... Jesus. OP, if you're still around, I'm sorry to hear that they have wrecked the place. Whenever I've had any contractors in they have been quite good, cleaned up after themselves, etc. Have you complained to the council? And all you idiots shouting about council tenants not having the right to complain and popping out kids every 5 minutes, get your head out of the Daily Mail and take a look around. I live in a council house with my partner, I work, he works and we don't have kids and don't plan to have any for a good few years until after we're married. Not everyone is like that, especially not now that some less fortunate people have had to give up their houses and move into council accomodation.0
